While he's still their legal responsability and living with them this could cause fights but by nature we all revert back to an uneasy truce. Total lack of comunication would likley lead to complete cuttoff.

He was involved in the Gunpowder Plot, which was intended to give the catholic church more power in England. The symbolism has shifted as Guy Fawkes ideas were rebranded. You can complain all you want about the original intent, it doesnt change the idea expressed by the new image of Guy fawks which is the only image that matters now.
Nobody knows the original person, and he is irrelevent.

What they can see though is the thumbnails on youtubes main page or categoriy pages.
Thats where they aremore likely to identify him from.
Also, a voice doesnt mean much to any but the closest people to him, but his face is more likely recognised by a much broader range of people.
