I'm a sixteen year old girl and I find nothing about this offensive. Cintia looks like she's having so much fun during the summer, which is the entire point of this. Aerie sells bras and underwear... which is what she is modeling. So what if she's topless for a few seconds and you see her back and side boob? Women wear bikinis all the time that show off more than that shot did. They have thong bathing suits. Go to any beach in Florida and you'll see a lot worse than this.

The point of this is to make girl's feel confident and pretty. If the chick in the video was all wrapped up in a burlap sack, that would send the message to cover up and be ashamed. This makes girls feel pretty and want to show off their bodies. I happen to like it. Makes me want to shop at Aerie.

I'm a sixteen year old girl and I find nothing about this offensive. Cintia looks like she's having so much fun during the summer, which is the entire point of this. Aerie sells bras and underwear... which is what she is modeling. So what if she's topless for a few seconds and you see her back and side boob? Women wear bikinis all the time that show off more than that shot did. They have thong bathing suits. Go to any beach in Florida and you'll see a lot worse than this.

The girls have nice bodies, so the message is, "Your body will look this hot in our panties or bras". They are using an extremely common advertising technique of sex, which works. I just argue that I don't understand the sensitivity to boobs. They won't jump out and claw your eyes out and looking at them won't impregnate anyone. It's just an internet advertisement, and it's working.

People at the beach will wear things that barely cover their nipples or butt, it's hardly any different. My family is from Europe, they aren't so uptight and worried about seeing the side of a boob...so maybe that's why I'm not offended by this. But it certainly isn't porn and it isn't distasteful. If you're offended by this I suggest you never go to an art museum.
