  • The smell is proly ur bike overheating ;)

  • What size cc should a beginner get? I've watched all ur videos but I don't think they go over size of cc

  • you can do better with better line.

  • Your bike is beautiful

  • fuck you fabio bitchass fakeass old spice guy

  • @MrDevanteCPT ummm...umad?

  • @camisado99 no i hate the new old spice guy on the commercial

  • @MrDevanteCPT but u still dont have to call this awesome guy bad names :(

  • @camisado99 im not cursing mordeth i'm cursing the guy on the advertisements "FABIO"

  • @MrDevanteCPT oh sorry

  • drag ur elbow

  • I haven't gone through to see any neg comments yet but you ride very, very well. Not to brag but I am very quick on the track, but if you were to put me in the city where you ride I might as well be on a moped with pink shorts on. Again target fixation. I would be thinking TRUCK, TRUCK, TRUCK!!!!!!!!!, while you're screaming through dodging all kinds of shit just seeing the line and still have time to turn to catch a couple of hotties and complete the thought of whatever topic your on. Nice !!

  • Great vid. Been waiting for this one. I could only imagine it's hard to comment and ride. Thx. I'd really like to go to a track. The closes track is Virginia International Speedway. Awesome vid

  • Only you could have an entertaining vlog while on a race track lol. Why have cable tv when I got M13 youtube channel.

  • I just got my license this year and havent been able to really see what people were talkin about when they talked about target fixation. That is a great example. staring at walls = slow lap times/ crashes

  • What was your highest speed attained on the track that day?

  • Hey M13, i've been watching your videos through my friend Chris, finally decided to subscribe..... I was wondering if everyone HAS or GETS target fixation? Me & Chris ride our bicyles through steep hills travelling at speeds of over 40 mph, it doesn't seem like i ever get target fixation, and there are cars right next to us, as well as swirvy turns, it's menacing, the only emotion i feel, is a little sense of fear, and then a bunch of adrenaline and excitement.

  • @jtr123 Also, i realize 40 mph isn't that fast, but for everyone out there, just let me say this.... you go speeds in excess of 40 mph, down hill with twisties, on a BICYCLE next to cars, and tell me if it's fast or not.

  • Lol do what i do no break just lean into more better in more than running off the track

  • Anyone telling Mordeth he is slow is ignorant. 1.) He is riding while talking (to a camera, IN HIS HELMET) 2.) He is on the ninja 650R (twin engine, slower than most other models with the in-line 4 engine, yet keeping up with riders ON those quicker bikes) 3.) The track is not exactly glass smooth, therefore navigating it takes greater attention to detail on turns and what-not.

  • Read your comments in teh info box, and you forgot another point to make, i bet those ignorants fucks have never tried to do a video blog while going round a track (especially a track youve only been round a few times) rant over lol awesome video(s) actually insipred me to get my license and go a long tour of Scotland so thanks :D

  • You're all doing that in first gear? :P (no experience) but racing is like beeing at high rpms all the time? So you have power to shift up and still have rpms

  • i wish i had my bike license :( and a bike... and.. enough skill to confidently ride

  • Honda or Kawasaki ?

  • @europimpjr NINJAAAAAH!

  • why did you fast forward all the riding. I would like to see all the track footage.

  • @yurlame757 He didn't fast forward any footage... he's just that quick ;)

  • crap... spamming posts sorry, it didnt say they went through =S

  • It sure looks like a lot of fun.

  • cause you're a daddy now!

  • Looks like a 250 would come in handy on this little track. Nice n' light. Smash outta those corners.

  • Damn!!! At 6:40 you really started dominating that track!! (Anyone that takes this comment seriously is obviously more of an idiot than they think i am)

  • I have a feeling watching this video that your habits from staying safe on the road are hurting you on the track. Although that's much better than habits from the track making you less safe on the street!

  • Hey mordeth, do you think i should buy a Honda NSR 125? Or is there better alternatives? Should i buy a 4-stroke instead?

  • The track seems slightly dirty

  • on camera, 30-35 mph through a tight turn looks slow. in reality its not slow at all just forget the kiddies

  • might I make a suggestion? next time you should try mounting the camera on your motorcycle so its less choppy and going all over the place. but then of course you would have to get a separate mic to go in your helmet. just sayin i got kinda dizzy watching this video O_x

  • literally just picked up my first motorcycle, its a '85 honda vf500cc magna

    effin sweet for 600 bucks

  • Twist of the Wrist II advice. Nice! I bought that book because of you M13 Thanks Good video!! Keep up the good work.

  • Jeez M13, you're so damn slow!

  • Looks like you had a great time & that's all that matters :)

  • I haven't ridden on a track yet, but even I can give you a simple tip... try using two hands while you ride! ;) Aha

  • the last bit is my favourite knee down then thumbs up .

  • The 'tunnel-vision' thing manifests itself in a variety of interesting ways in various disciplines. I've run into it in combat training, when you tunnel-vision so much on one threat that you can miss other threats from the side. You compensate by training to look side to side after engaging the current threat, breaking the tunnel-vision much in the same way as you would on a bike. I wonder if my training will help me there when I start riding. It never occurred to me that it would. Cool stuff!

  • I like how you motivate yourself. Lol

  • Mordeth, I would LOVE for you to come to Norway and ride with me and my friends! That would litterally be the most awesome thing to happen!

  • Thumbs up for "stop braking like a pussy and turn the damn bike" lol

  • It's good that you became aware of the importantness of how to use your sight taking corners. Always look where you want to go, not where you don't want to end up, the bike will follow like magic. Learned my lesson a month ago on a track, i was going too fast into a corner. It was doable, if i would have just kept leaning and waited corner to "end", but i couldn't take my eyes off the sandtrap and all the trees. I got scared, hit the brakes, bike tilted up and next i landed on my head 60mph.

  • Man u should use space on the track.. that way u will get all corners much more steep. I aint pro but I know something :)

  • Thats a nice looking Cafe racer at the end 11:00

  • thx for the lesson m13 sensei!

  • Great footage M13! Thanks for sharing your track experiences on youtube with all of us. Considering how little you are on that track compared to the other guys, I would say you did an awesome job...plus no one else on the track is blogging at the same time...multi-tasking is a bitch.

  • awesome to see you back on the track. Reminds me of Old school M13

  • What kinda bike do you own? It sounds good.

  • @UtahUtesRule2010 It's a Ninja 650R

  • Just attach a stop watch on your handle bar

  • Actually, I was going to be one of those dicks telling you about your riding style, but even I noticed an improvement between when the video started and the end of it.

  • i recommend people to read or watch the Keith code twist of the wrist because it's really good to improved lap times and your riding skills..

  • OMFG Rise of planet of the apes!!

  • tip top effort

  • oh M13, reading your description, why are you still offended by haters - with so many subscribers, you could break the lap record in Laguna Seca and there would still be enough people complaining about you - In fact, I think they feel encouraged to go on hatin' when they see how mad you get at them writing your description....

  • oh god target fixation i get that soo much when i do things the first time, like i got a sports bike yesterday, and ive been using scooters for a while, i was trying to get the gears right and i forgot to use my front brake at like 30, nearly went straight into a parked car xD but thank god it was a empty road with no drivers and i swerved it half a metre away, scary as hell but just gonna keep praticing at 20-30 till ive got the hang of it

  • AWWW target fixation! I remember riding for the first time, didn't stall the bike once until i decided to shift down and speed. Sadly i had a brain fart as soon as i sped and looked at the curve on the street. STUPIDEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE

  • you get so mad over the bracking lol its grate lol great video man

  • People criticizing other people's riding is common place on Youtube. I would guess that 98% of them have never even seen a race track much less road on one. Keeping riding your ride man.

  • @13mordeth

Good on you for continuing to improve your riding skills. You are much better for it. So many people brag about all the years of experience riding. In reality they probably have 1 year of experience learning & several years following making the same mistakes over & over again because they either aren't willing or do not pursue any new learning experiences. Keep learning/growing as a motorcyclist, have fun, keep it twisted & be safe. Cheers from Canada!

  • Nice vid keep up the good work

  • In my short 2 years worth of experience. I find that I can do much better on new baby smooth asphalt concrete. The track you're on looks sketchy in some spots. But like you say no matter how much knowledge you have on proper track riding, it's a lot easier said than done. Great video mordeth and great explanations of target fixation and looking through the turn. I'd love to see more of these.

  • Those corners are so fucking dirty...and also should try to copy the line of the guy ahead. There is a part of that track that has 3 curves and you go in the first one really fast and you go out wide and so for the socond one you go in too sharp...you know what? Never mind...you do it right sometimes and then sometimes not. i hope you get to practice more. Racing is amazing...i miss it.

  • Those corners are so fucking dirty...

  • M13 you rock! Alot of people don't understand that you have to turn quite a bit slower on a motorcycle than a car. In my car I would drift constantly, and could do a left turn around 30 mph, sometimes a bit faster depending on how my tires were and if I was feeling quick. I tried that on a motorcycle at around 24MPH (I just got it), that was a big mistake. You are looking good on the track, thansk for the vid!

  • 6:40 - 6:57

Mordeth goes faster than the speed of sound.

    Godammit it =D

  • Gotta love how legit you are. If I had to pick a role model for ethics and moral course. I'd pick you. Not perfect, which is perfect. Honesty is amazing man.

  • @HexingCurse Thank you sir. My honesty is one of the few things I like about myself. And everyone needs to lick themselves. That was not a miss-spell. I actually lick myself. Down there.

  • @13mordeth I hear that pays amazingly if you do it for a crowd. Might wanna think about that as a side job. Just a thought. Cheers

  • @13mordeth

i had to have ribs removed to do that...

  • @13mordeth cheers, i work in a corporate environment and i watch these vids to refresh me from the overwhelming amount of bullshit i experience everyday

  • blogging and riding on a race track perfect nice one m13!

  • How much does one have to pay to use this track?

  • @Kadoffel A whole 5 american dollars.

  • @13mordeth It shows in the track surface. But I wouldn't mind paying $5 to zip around even on a crummy track.

  • @13mordeth

Wow that is cheap! I went go cart racing while on vacation and they charged $78 for 6 races. The races were only 12 laps (1/8th mile track)

  • @Kadoffel yea but the gas is prolly more expensive than the admission of $

    5

  • Hey M13, long time viewer here and i was jsut wondering what your views on the new Honda CBR 250R is? thinking about getting one.

  • @LastXx7xx It's a Honda. What else is there to know. Honda rules.

  • @13mordeth lmao thats what i said and it really pissed a red neck off one time xD

  • @13mordeth You sir, have won the internet,

Honda ftw! One question though, why do you have a kawa then?

  • @13mordeth Hey, I agree that Honday Rules, with your preference, your ninja 250 or the CBR 250? Ive been getting a lot of mixed review about which one to choose for a first bike. Any help?

  • @LastXx7xx designed to be under 33bhp for the UK light motorcycle licence, check out MCN's review of it

  • @LastXx7xx I've got a couple CBR250's. I've got the 88 CBR250R, I've had the 96 CBR250RR, and I've got the new 2011 CBR250R. In my personal opinion, they're 3 totally different bikes. The 88 was a screaming demon. Fast, light, loud. The 96 was still quick, but seemed a lot heavier. It did however have double disc brakes, so the braking was much better.

The new one is very much like a cruiser. It looks like a VFR, it handles like a sportbike, but it runs like a...shadow?

    They're all awesome bikes

  • @LastXx7xx lots of bottom end, nothing up in the revs...try everything before you commit to buying haha

  • its the track. that dude in front of u cornering low but hes only doin liek 10 15 mph or something. go to a bigger track. go 120 or w.e top speed on 600 is. DO IT

  • Mordeth, you inspire me to be a better rider :) Been watching your vids for 2 years, got my first bike last month and learned my gears with a little of your help :P. Love this video!! The track looks fun.. Im certainly hoping I can hit the track someday. Much love, Canada!

  • @WhatsUpWithBritt A well recommended read (or video) is Keith Code's "Twist of the wrist", cant tell you how many times I have avoided crashes from training and using the tips in that book.. if you want to improve your riding, read it :-)

  • honestly loved this track video, can't wait to see you getting faster and faster!

  • i was reading the description and I had a teacher who used to skydive and they said that parachutes now automatically open at 1000ft. so yeah :l

  • @iopghjk001 Only for beginners. Expert skydivers disable the safetey function because it might cause the parachute to open while they are in the middle of a stunt or something.

  • So, let me get this straight... you're on a patchy track, with your road bike, while blogging... and people are bitching about you not riding like a pro racer!? Errr... ok?

  • @TofuRealName A-fucking-men, and thank you.

  • @TofuRealName Those people are called preps. Striving to be the best especially by putting others down. It's actually quite common once you stop sucking at life.

  • @Platyzoan thats good. time to let the bawls hang out and rite as i pleeze.

i sub'd on the video of him catchin that punk hittin the dog. love the pups and respect to m13 for stoppin the abuse. watched this episode and i think i made a good decision subbin. keep em comin m13.

  • @AxelBurner I have never corrected an error in a comment or an email or a PM (except my own or that of someone who corrected me). That would be obnoxious. And I agree M13 makes fine videos.

  • @Platyzoan Thanks. And no hard feelings. If you had offended me I would've blocked you. I block about 2-5 people a day recently (often the same people who create new accounts just to come leave one more insult LOL). So it was just a minor dispute.

  • Mmmmmm, me like cooking tires :D Num num num num num.

  • Seems plenty fast to me. I would venture to say the majority of people who say you're going slow have never taken a bike to a race track or ridden at all.

  • Not meant to be derogatory or anything like that, just observation: I noticed you have a very shallow and early entrance into corners, and this causes you to hit your apex much earlier than the physical corner's apex, causing you to run wide and slow in the exit. On a lot of those corners, I would be entering much wider and later into the turn so I can more accurately hit the real apex, and improve exit speed. Not trying to be a know-it-all, just hoping it helps =)

  • @DasPenguin85 This is useful advice. But one thing to keep in mind. When I used to put up karting videos....I had a near perfect line. But people kept saying the same thing about staying wider before the turn. People have this misconception that you should be all the way to the left before turning right. And at this point you might agree with them. So I ask you....what if the road was a mile wide and the turn only a 30 degree turn? Would you still move over a mile to the left to take the turn?

  • @13mordeth Indeed, that's the unspoken message behind it all - finding the right entry point for the specific turn. Mostly the aforementioned was for sharp, 90-180 degree turns, but in the shallow angle turns you may opt for the quickest A-to-B line you can instead. Thanks for the response man.

  • Well explained!

  • Best video description ever. I'm not joking.

  • it seems so slow, maybe i should strap a camera to my bike and see if it looks slower when i take corners. do they have a over head view of the track?

  • M13, are you using countersteering consciously? It really helps.

  • @keldorn Of course I am..hehe. I have multiple vids on that topic. But....I'm probably not doing it as aggressively as I should.

  • Mordeth why do you get so many butthurt weirdos trolling your videos (see the plagarism guy).

People need to get laid and chill the fuck out.

  • @SupWithThatGaming the same type of trolls that complain about grammar in the description.

  • @AxelBurner Yeah, it's really lame that a video of M13 at the track gets so many comments about a stupid issue in the description box. If the original comment got a simple acknowledgment and a correction was made, the conversation would be over. Unfortunately, M13 got all butthurt about it for no reason, and his goons decided to join him in attacking and mocking the original poster. Don't worry. I don't think you will have to put up with anymore comments about M13's writing.

  • @Platyzoan Touche. But I wasn't really "butthurt" it was more like I rolled my eyes and thought "who gives a fuck?".

  • @13mordeth Fair enough. I won't make anymore comments about crap in the description box. There is one comment below that I kind of regret. I will remove it.

  • @SupWithThatGaming Yar, word! "Butthurt"... I'm gonna try and throw this in a few conversations from time to time. It's a good word :D

  • I bet half of the assholes who hate on you have never stepped onto the track. I'd like to see them blog with a camera shoved in their face while leaning around a corner. Keep the awesome videos coming and don't listen to the haters.

  • buddy your videos rock bro keep them comming !

  • id say your going fast as this is the man that constantly waves his hands when he speaks i wouldnt like to race not holding my bike.

  • I don't hear any knees scraping :)

  • @mattpkp I was getting them down in the session after this. When I stopped recording. Don't worry I'll get some 3rd person footage of me getting my knee down in the near future.

  • M13 your awesome :D

    !!!!

  • Is your recommended beginner bike still the Ninja 250r?

  • @Krais3r My recommended first bike was never the Ninja 250. I have always said "anything cheap, 2nd hand, and 500cc or less".

  • I know you've said it in previous videos but damn that track is beat to shit for a motorcycle track. And, I've heard of grammar nazis and spelling nazis, but citation nazis? Fucking seriously? @Platyzoan you're kind of being a cock... Just sayin'

  • @coverton341 Citation is far more important than either grammar or spelling. People with poor spelling or grammar are just careless or ignorant, but people who refuse to cite borrowed text are charlatans.

Call me whatever names you want, but I just think its sad that so many people don't give a shit about plagiarism. Didn't you guys learn anything in English class when you were in school? Hell! Plagiarism isn't just about composition class, it's relevant to every subject area.

  • @Platyzoan Comma splice in the last sentence should be corrected with a period or semicolon.

  • @Platyzoan just let the man uplaod his videos and ride his bike you dong like it don't watch them ya hear and if you dont like how we puntutate or speill then bugger off (typing this way on purpose maybe you shit your pants from all this misspeiliing and grammer errors) :D

  • Yeap. As cptchris1018 mentioned, even in the vid you have us looking where you're looking, and it feels different when you made the change.

  • @DAntheUndEAd Good luck with you CBT , dont worry the only way to fail is to run a old woman over or fall off the damn thing lol!

  • Hey dude cool video, good thinking about the cam on the wall to get your lap times and plus you can hear what your bike sounds like when on full gas,lol Hope them Dunlop Alpha 10 tyres are also smelling good on the track.

  • I love the fact that you actually take the time to read and reply to your viewers comments questions and concerns. I can write a question, and assume you're going to at least read it, unlike all the other dam youtubers.

    Props =)

Keep doing what you're doing, I seriously look forward to your video every single day.

  • @ZawadaP I only read all comments on newer videos. Once another video gets put up I'll check the comments on this one less and less.

  • I want to be on a track one day with my r6 but I don't have the right gears and Im trying to clean out my carbs...plus fix my throttle lever and get new screws and bolts for my fairing. Anyways I still enjoyed your video on the track, I know you can ride better than me so good job ^^

  • 0:09 Just thought of your next tutorial video. "How to properly mount a moving motorcycle."

  • Wow, I can't stand people that have to comment about minor things, not trying to defend mordeth 13 with everything, but really, quotations and junk like that. come on everybody, get a life.

  • taking my CBT on monday :)

  • Man u can even tell the difference on video when u quit lookin at the wall

  • Hey M13, I give you all kinds of kudos for blogging on a race track, where riders and drivers alike often need tons of concentration.

  • Awesome description. I really don't wanna work right now. Gotta go.

  • Hey I was just thinking...what you should do for track vids is take the audio from the helmet cam and then have someone tape you going around so people can see actually how fast you are and how far you lean...then combine them so you get your commentary and better video.

  • MAN ! you really improved! that speed was quite impressive from 6:30 - 7:00 :) just kidding,... i wish we had a track here ,.. but i cant afford to ride on nürburgring , etc :(

  • easier said then done while doing 70 mph at a wall, AND FREAKING RECORDING. definatly makes a huge difference, even if your used to recording

  • @jhardy66617 Yeah, I recorded the first two sessions and didn't get my knee down (even though I was trying) and then the third session I didn't record and I was getting it down constantly.

  • @13mordeth i mean hell even riding in crap weather changes how well you can ride, if ur cold that a distraction, glare from the sun? thats another, no one ever thinks about this before going you suck.......

  • You look slow at the start but by then end you look fairly fast in most corners and considering you're talking it's fairly impressive. I need to go to a track day!!!

  • given the main demographic of youtube, the main demographic of armchair warriors, and the amount of videos of you on a bike, I'd say that you spend too much time defending your driving ability

  • @Kiernan809 I agree.

  • A supermoto would be fun there

  • id love to do that on my mini moto :) its 2 stroke ( ofcourse ) and water coooled its a best.. dont get to rise it much, worth too much to rish driving where it could get takenb by the cops

  • That's a tiny track for your bike.

  • Fun to watch the only thing you need to work on is your racing line. That track makes me wish that america didn't suck so much in regards to their tracks and track policies.

  • Don't wanna seem like a spammer b/c I posted this link on your last vid, but I think it's even more relevant now--getting your head down in corners: goo.gl /LMPho

  • Around the 6:30 mark your bike starting going ridiculously quick, so much so you cant actually hear anything

  • Mordeth I will be coming to one of your tours one day!!!! Just when I have saved up enough money!! :D As always awesome video!! Its soo hard to ride fast and talk at the same time lol don't know how you do it!

  • vlogging while racing, because racing is just too easy

  • @nealbo666 :)

  • really wish I had a track close to me to do track days on.

  • Seriously? You are not going to cite the source of the text on target fixation in the description box? Just put the link to the Wikipedia article at the end of it. It's not that hard. If you don't cite it, the assumption is you wrote it, but you didn't. I don't think you mean to be a plagiarist. All of your work I have seen has been much too original for that, but as long as that text isn't cited, you are a plagiarist.

  • @Platyzoan True, but any one can tell thats not written by m13, its just too neat. :)

  • @Arcaneallure Yeah, anyone who knows his writing style can tell, and even within the description box, there is obvious shift in style between the opening text and where the article begins. He still should make it clear where the text came from.

  • @Platyzoan This is youtube... he's not exactly submitting a paper to a scientific journal
