Lol. My point was that you were calling the guy a bullshitter saying that HP wouldn't allow videos like that on the internet. Look around at the thousands of videos of OEM computers on the blink.
Computers don't work on smoke, the chips that are made of silicon, which is flamable [and makes a LOT of smoke] burn. Causing the computer to stop working.
you are stupid. i have built around 8/900 ML370's and i have only ever seen that twicw and both were had the Capacitor points bridged to creat a problem. well done for wrecking a perfect piece of kit. you realy are a knob jocky
We also had this problem only twice. Both were two new systemboards right out of the box. HP had exactly the same problem and replaced the whole server for a new one.
no thermite was used... this is called capacitor point bridging (a type of short circuit) apparently common in server hardware... happened to about 5 dell servers we had around at my old school... you would walk down the hall one day and smell something... everyone would hear the fire alarms go off and id yell out "SERVER ON FIRE AGAIN!!!'
you bridged it. to fuck up a good server

Neck yourself.
If I was your boss or the customer I would belt the fuck out of you.
Your an immature incompetent little fuckhead who shouldn't be in the IT industry or really any industry where that can happen.
Perhaps digging holes is more your standard.

My boss was standing behind me. HP requested this video so why not put on Youtube.
sailorman1 1 year ago 25
@sailorman1
I severely doubt a tier1 multi-billion would request a video like this.
Even so I severely doubt that they would let you post/ leak a video like this without your boss getting some legal ramification against him.
Trust me with this a relative of mine works for IBM and any company that leaked some video like this would get sued.

@ShaneHm2 You wouldn't have done shit. Shut the fuck up.

@Cyantist2 Epic troll.
If you knew anything about IT you would know that a few grand server like that would cost some buisnesses up to about $50k an hour in downtime.

@Cyantist2
I never stated that all. The fact is that if it was a production and I was the persons boss I would be severely pissed off.
Mayhaps look at sailorman1's comment he is the one that stated the legal stuff.

Q: My motherboard smokes, is it broken now?
A: Yes, computers work on smoke. When the smoke leaks out it is broken.
