I love this song, and I think that the people who were making a big stink over it being the theme song for "Enterprise" were being silly, petty and immature. The music and the lyrics fit the theme of the series perfectly.

I disagree. Star Trek themes have always been instrumental.

Making one with an actual SONG was a bad choice.

Many people already believe "Enterprise" doesnt belong in the Star Trek heirarchy, and adding a theme SONG makes it worse. However...i will admit its a good tune and brilliantly sung.

Cant beat Rod Stewarts version though.

@Diablo666Daemon666 I think people can think what they want but not counting Enterprise into the Star Trek hierarchy is their own bad choice ;) It's the best series within Star Trek and the intro is just beautiful. Being against changes as a Trekkie is just ironic...

Personally, i think TNG was the best. It was enough like the original to e a goodCanonical follow-up, but it didnt have ttedious storylines or crappy Shatner "one-liners"...

@queenguruh im going through it for the first time & almost done season 3. it is my fav trek by far & i own all 6 of them (cartoon to). yes its dif from the other treks. its the start of everything starfleet & all. its more like a soap opera in that the shows follow each others stories..yet it doesnt deviate or destroy canon & talks about things 400 years (hence AFTER picard) later as if setting up for any later trek shows. i think that is what makes it so great cuz it can go anywhere
