@svecter Where is the Drummer going? well I hope they all leave the stage and retire. Its sad to say but its terrible GIVE UP please and let us all have our memories from when the likes of me were in our teens amd the youngsters can grab a Cd of Groundhogs when they were at the Top....not like this.. its painfull to see and listen.
@switchdoktor I partially agree but hey its worth it just for the nostalgia no worse than the stones! can't be all bad he has more hair than i have, I last saw him playing live in 1971..man he could play then alright. Led Zep reunion? oh god pls!
Volume at Hogs gigs so loud that sound quality bound to be dodgy recorded like this. Years have not been kind to his playing, but one of the most original and brilliant guitarists ever in my book.
This is, indeed, a terrible video, but we American Hog-worshippers will take anything we can get; Tony's gigs are always in the UK. Anyway, if this video is really a McPhee Groundhog band, isn't that Tony playing drums? The guitarist is not T.S. McPhee!
Sorry switchdoktor I cannot agree with you as Tony McPhee is still a great guitarist maybe you just happen to see them on a bad night,Every band as a bad gig now and then.
Very tiresome and sad to see such an important and vital group,a band I grew up with musically, portrayed on YOU TUBE with such poorly filmed and such horrible audio.Somebody at Groundhog HQ...do something!!! or come out to western Canada, and I'll film you properly.nuff said.
It's just your opinion !!!! What an unkind comment to post on this forum...Tony McPhee is a lovely guy, a real gentleman, and his music is superb. What a classic band, and what a superb evening we all had on the 11th October 2008. We saw Tony live on the Classic Legends of Rock Tour, at The Regent Centre, Christchurch, Dorset. What a superb gig too. Keep on Rocking Tony and please ignore ignorant tossers like the one that wrote this extremely hurtful comment. What a Moron!!
Hey just get over it. Grandpa can rock more than u!
