damn this is one lush solo man, your bends and vibratos are so clean and in the pocket, did you make this solo up ? and to the people who dont think its him, just watch his other videos and be silenced, hes the real deal.
Players who are actually playing fast do not make spastic hand gestures, speed is obtained through making the most fluid and efficient movements. When playing at slower speeds, the hand is more likely to make unecessary motions; when said motions are sped up, the result is a spastic unatural looking twitch. At the end of the video, when your hand reaches to touch the camera, looks as if you still had the speed augmented, and your movements seem twitchy.
These spastic movements are not only visible at the end of the video when you reach toward the camera, but throughout the video. Anybody who doubts me, stare at the string hanging from the hood Mr. Fernandes is wearing for the entire video; tell me if the movements of this string are not in the least bit questionable. But hey, you have no need to bother with me, I clearly don't have as royal a fan base as you Sir Fernandes.
if you don't think I played it, you clearly haven't seen a lot of guitar videos... it's pretty damn easy to play that sort of six string arpeggio at that speed... watch my other videos and see for yourself
Wow, three responses. I actually don't think that this was sped up. I just wanted to see if it was possible to make a comment that would finally get your attention... Looks like it worked.
yeah me too, started when i was about that age. the thing about me though is I go through phases. I get sometimes where I practice a lot and then other times where I wont pick it up for a week. I'm about to start college as a musician. Maybe a professional mentor can help me get up the the pro level.
Fucking awsome!!!!!

lol the string on my hoodie does look a little unnatural... but its just the movements of the guitar strap behind it causing it to move that way

just a question though.... how come in some parts you only do downstroke picking?
madmax1786 6 years ago
hi
It isnt compulsory to alternate pick always... i prob just played what came naturally, you'll notice i do upstrokes for a few notes in a row.
They also give different tones
