THIS is my favorite Neil Young song, because it really speaks to me. Also, you can really weed out the b.s. people who say they are Neil Young fans to please you, by asking them about "music arcade". Been running through my head for about ten years, and someone stole all my Neil Young CDs down in the Keys so I'm really glad you put it up on youtube. Thank you.
What a wonderful song and album. Frustratingly underrated. 'I was walking down main street, not the side walk, but main street, dodging traffic with flying feet, that's how good I felt' :)
quarrels on this music's page? human beings can be such petty little things... this is so peaceful... you people should take a hint from Mr. Young, try and elevate yourselves... listen to the tune and ponder on your own silliness.
right. that's why you left the rude comment on my channel, as well. what a loser--now a weak attempt to cover-up in here after I called your bs. hahahaha
This is one of the best out of Neil's lesser known songs. This and "Bandit" from Greendale are two of my favorite of his acoustic tunes from the last couple decades.
Thanks so much for that! This is one of my favourite Neil Young's songs. I saw him live last night - awesome - but he did not play Music Arcade. So it feels good to listen to it here...
What a great tune .Neil Young has loads of them but this is so simple its brilliant.

I heard this song for the first time in Giant Sand's Selections album, and I just loved it.
I was hoping to find the video clip on Youtube someday but I couldn't.
That's why I made the video above.
Hope you guys enjoy Howe Gelb's gorgeous rendition as well.

did he play Loose change? and how long was Hurricane? the 13min Weld version is the best one imo.

@jowox No it isn't. The 82 Berlin vesion is by far the best Like A Hurricane version.

you know: the one suggesting I like my "grandma's twat". Funny.
Have a smoke, maybe listen to the tune, and forget about all of this.

I was joking, and you went to insults as you took it defensively.
Go look in the mirror.

I bet it was.
I know for me, "tears" are always right there; and sometimes, I get to just let 'em go.
