My shoots doesn’t seem or look right, like yours.
When I’m shooting, I can still see allot of the grain from the grounding glass. It makes the picture look not-so-high-def and a Little bite por. There seems to be a kind of “skin” in front of a image.
I use a sony Hdr Fx1000, brand new nikkor 50mm 1.4, 0 dB, and yes, I turn on the switch of letus.
In good day ligth i use the iris in 7f and the nikon lens at 3 or 4.
Wow.. You really can't pour wine..! But really, nice video. If I could afford adapters like Letus or Redrock, I'd use them instead of DSLR's when I need to lower the DOF.
Quick question that no one has seem to be answering. With my canon xha1s, when i get the letus extreme. You fucus with the 35mm, 50mm ect lens right? Not the cameras body focus rings? ebacuse thats focused on the letus lens right?!
This video is incredible! By any chance would it be possible for you to post the different types of lenses you used in the video by timeframe of the video?
The next video I do that may test an adapter, I will make sure to do that, this one, I honestly don't remember some of the shots. I know the majority here were the Nikon 50mm
I want this camcorder so bad but i don't know if i could ever afford it i saw one other one HX3100 and that one blew me away too but this one seems the more afforable one...canada they jack the prices up
That must have been an expensive camera.Mines just a Nikon 12.1 Meg. ISO 3200 Coolpix and that was on sale from 500 plus down to 350. I want to do Marco photography but I don't know if this camera can do it.
hey nice nice shoots great quality.

Letus is dead. killed by Canon (5D, 7D & T2I)

@maxinicotra Not until they fix the rolling shutter, in my opinion.
Zzx4k 1 year ago
@maxinicotra not quite. those cameras still have aliasing, moire, rolling shutter, jello effect, and terrible sound (no xlr)
AshKilamande 10 months ago
@maxinicotra once you get Audio incorporated they will be great....otherwise, DSLRs have ways to go...

Hey,
will this fit for the Sony CX-550ve (37mm filter diameter) and Minolta/Sony/Carl Zeiss lenses (alpha-bayonet)???
shompy12 1 year ago

Nah, just a little heavy after a while, but overall it's quite awesome

What lenses would you suggest with the HVX200a + Letus35 Extreme? I was considering Zeiss lenses but have some second thoughts.

Zeiss or Nikon man...I've used Nikon mostly and I love them, olympus still kick ass though too, although sharp new Nikon's are amazing

Any of this footage from an upcoming film? Seems like there is some plot behind the visual footage.
BonelessSausage 2 years ago
The footage is from a project my friend Adam directed, as I was just the DP, its some of my footage I have from the piece.

Good luck to Adam.

Great Tool! The picture quality is very good. Narrow DOF adds a new dimension to creative filming.
