@disneyqueen72 Honestly, I /hate/ log rirdes but my friends finally got me to go on. It's really not that scary. I mean, if you're short like me and have to go in the front, it is a big scary to look down right before you go, but all that adrenaline you get from being afraid makes it worth it and makes you wanna go on it over and over. Lol. Every time its too hot now I always say "I wanna go on Splash Mountain"...so it'll be worth it

I was disappointed that I didn't end up having time to go on Splash Mountain when I was at Disney. But I also went to SeaWorld and I went on a ride there called Journey To Atlantis that was a similar type of ride. That one was fun.

Such a great ride, particularly on a hot day when you need to get soaked with cool water. We timed the rides at that point just right with our fast passes... Off one ride, right on to the next one... We went at the best time, October... warm but quieter.

@disneyqueen72 There is a little drop inside. Everything is pitch black so you don't know when its coming. It is only a few ft. tall but gives you a little scare and tricks you.

i remember the first time i went on this ride i was in the front, thats all i remember XD! but best ride to go on at night? this one, because its a water ride everyone would be to cold to go on at night, so realllly short line, and sometimes if no people come you can go on again without going inline :D

My friends and I were riding this, and my friend had never rode on it, and right when the drop came and they took our picture, 2 people were crying, 2 people flipped the camera off, I had a "troll" face on , and my friend was ducked under the lap-bar. XD

i went on this ride twice 1st time i hated it cuz of this part and i said "ah what the heck ill give it another shot"than i tried it again and still hated it so i was like"thats it im done with this ride lol" i just plain didnt like when i got down to the thorns i had to duck cuz my head almost hit the thorns cuz the thorns were like 2 centimeters away from my head and going like 50 mph my head wouldve hit the thorns and if that happened people would see my head floating in the water!!!!!!!!!!

When I rode this I don't know how it worked out so perfectly, but right when my boat went down the huge hill, the fireworks shot off in front of the castle, and it felt amazingly magical. =)

Both WDW and DL versions have Brer Rabbit tied up, and the vultures. But the vultures are at the bottom of the big lift hill, right before you go up.

it also depends on where you sit on it so it does make a difference the first 3 seats you'll get wet but for those of you who are saying the water isn't cranked it up it actually is but if you sit in the far back then no you wont get wet at all

No, they let record the rides. But if it gets stuck, and they have to evacuate and take you in the back, they won't let you film or take pictures back there.

There is a drop from the bog scene to the "Laughin' Place" scene indoors. It goes down, then up a little, then you get really wet. Most of the people who get wet on this ride get it from that second drop, not the third, last one.
