  • Yeah I was at the sydney concert the sound/vibe was fantastic !!!!!

  • Sounds awful here...but this song was awesome live in Sydney!

  • Good cover.. i like it.. thanks for shaing :)

  • I Have To Say The Mustard Has Not Been Cut Here, Abba Songs Stay Abba In My Mind. A Man Of FANTASTIC TALENT! Should Have Left This One Alone Mate But UNTOUCHABLE! For Your Own Music

  • This version is truly awful.. i could do better myself. It's that bad.

  • nice,very cool.

  • My God.....

Wouldn,t have hurt them to practice on this one a bit more....so outta tune!!!

    But very funny!

  • Who is the drummer? He looks like Adam Clayton. Can you tell me if it's true or not?

  • The drummer is Joe's long-time drummer - Dave Houghton.

  • @xxrola nevermind the adam clayton lookalike drummer...joe jackson is a spitting image of mickey rourke in this video.

  • Adam Clayton plays bass. Larry Mullen Jr. is the drummer for U2. But yes the drummer here is Dave Houghton.

  • A bit surreal this

  • @mareolas

Thats a very nice way to put it!(lol)

  • I don't agree. I remember lots of people loving them and their albums always were at the top of the charts. Granted, there was an equally popular undercurrent movement that hated ABBA because they were loved by a lot of older people as well, and threatened the more mainstream popular music of the time.

  • Everyone said they hated Abba back then, but in fact everyone loved and loves them.

    Me too.

One only have to grow older to have the guts to admit it.

    They created really brilliant things.

  • This is actually the only ABBA tune I really liked.

  • To describe all of Abba's music as "muzak" is ignorant. "Knowing Me ..." is well worth Joe's attention, but I don't think the vocals (harmonies) quite cut it in this recording.

  • Maybe " I have a dream " I like this style...

Live most be better than online... guess so...

  • That was unexpectedly fabulous. Thanks for posting.

  • BRU-tal!!

  • very brave, very good, but surprised theres no guitarist...sounds a bit empty..probalby better when its live..v good tho..

  • Kudos!

  • Abba compositions hold their catchiness no matter who is playing them.

  • I don't think that there's "gaping holes" in their music...Mr. Jackson, as brilliant as he is, just didn't have the right orchestration or the right harmonies. Those two girls were masters at harmony!!!

  • Joe Jackson is a cool guy.

  • A great rendition of "Knowing Me, Knowing You"!

It's an okay song, and I'm proud of it, but I still wish that ABBA had tried to make a hit out of "Genetic Test", the song they rejected from me in 1973 back when I was still writing songs for them. They ended up rejecting the song but using the story of the song for the musical Mamma Mia! You can check out The Missing ABBA Song at my YouTube page.

  • Wow - interesting

  • Wow is that true. Amazing facts you bring forward.

  • Frida can be proud! Thx Joe!

  • Suits his vocal style really well.

  • Cool. Nice to see Joe Jackson still goin' strong and doing an ABBA cover.
