The drummer is Joe's long-time drummer - Dave Houghton.

Adam Clayton plays bass. Larry Mullen Jr. is the drummer for U2. But yes the drummer here is Dave Houghton.

I don't agree. I remember lots of people loving them and their albums always were at the top of the charts. Granted, there was an equally popular undercurrent movement that hated ABBA because they were loved by a lot of older people as well, and threatened the more mainstream popular music of the time.

To describe all of Abba's music as "muzak" is ignorant. "Knowing Me ..." is well worth Joe's attention, but I don't think the vocals (harmonies) quite cut it in this recording.

I have to agree this is truly frightening. Joe M8 No! Abba should not have been encouraged. At least your rendition shows the gaping holes in their approach to music umm musak er musick.....whatever!!

I don't think that there's "gaping holes" in their music...Mr. Jackson, as brilliant as he is, just didn't have the right orchestration or the right harmonies. Those two girls were masters at harmony!!!

A great rendition of "Knowing Me, Knowing You"!

It's an okay song, and I'm proud of it, but I still wish that ABBA had tried to make a hit out of "Genetic Test", the song they rejected from me in 1973 back when I was still writing songs for them.
