i would like to know how you think The Conduit favors now. Since the sales were not there and the online is full of hackers and the single player was so easy must people beat the game first day. I'm sorry to say but this game is kind of a flop!!

For a new IP on the Wii of all consoles, and made by a lesser known dev, which they and Sega state they made profit from the game btw, to be called a flop is laughable. Part 2 is coming and with ways to patch the online exploits.

First it sold 72k copies during the release date and the NPD date (July something) in the U.S only, and that is not bad at all.
Second it sold 150K copies with the U.S and the European sales in the launch week, and SEGA only shipped 300k worldwide, so that means they sold more or less of what they shipped in a week, and that doesn't sound like a at all flop.
Third SEGA considered "The Conduit" a success in sale.

I agree that Metroid Prime 3 isn´t a typical FPS. BUT: It could be a good Multiplayer game. As far as I know the remake of Metroid Prime 2 allows you to disable the auto-aim (or auto-focus, however you wanna call it) so I guess it might be not bad after all. Being a good singleplayer game doesn´t preclude being a good multiplayer game as well.

LOL the graphics did not live up to its claim. first they said it almost looks like a 360...that statement is way way far away from the truth. however I gave it a try and its a good shooter but I cant get a hang of the controls I like it on controller or a pc mouse. but thats just me I think i just suck at controlling it. but still good shooting game reminds me of BLACK of the original xbox. online is badass and fun, no friend code needed just connect to multiplayer and your ready to play.
no offense but half life 2 has better textures than this. this game is not even close to a 360. i am running this on 480p. its not even close. I got another update. This has been around for a while now. Everyone is canceling their orders for this game and are pre-ordering it at gamestop (because of the LE). Now Amazon has lower the price of the game to something around 46 bucks hoping to get more pre-orders (and the price drop works for pre-orders only). I've already paid it off at gamestop, so I'm ready to go now!

I think games like Madworld don't sell very much because they are too hardcore, it is very violent and stuff, Conduit is also hardcore but not extreme violent. I buy games like the Conduit because they are hardcore but not too extreme, that's why games like The Conduit won't flop and games like Madworld will. I think this will count for many people.

BTW - Metroid Prime 3 isn't a FPS, it's a FPA, First Person Adventure. Nintendo announced when they made the first Metroid Prime, that it is a First Person Adventure.
Yeah, MP1 is already out in Japan for the Wii. (though I might be very wrong) and it seems pretty awesome with the Wii controls, and a bit upped graphics.

I think games like Madworld don't sell very much because they are too hardcore, it is very violent and stuff, Conduit is also hardcore but not extreme violent. I buy games like the Conduit because they are hardcore but not too extreme, that's why games like The Conduit won't flop and games like Madworld will. I think this will count for many people.

I think the main reason it didn't sell that well is because the beat-em'-up genre isn't exactly "workshipped" so to speak.
I think the sales are beginning to pick up for it though.
