okay so my mom grew up in petersburg and lived on a house build on a civil war battlefield and in the first 2 years they lived there weird things happen like the door swung open multiple times and vases broke into 4 peices for no reason and also they heard sighs sometimes when no one was around. the scariest thing was that my moms sister was awakened to find a colonel civil war soldier right next to her bed.

To be fully honest with you, I question this as evidence of anything paranormal. Reasons: The voices sound like you're moving around with the recorder, birds are bound to be in the yard, the picture's face you claim is not your own is too blurry as well as I can make out a female face, and Jean sounds like Jean to me (though your voice level could make it sound like Jame - but there's no 's' on the end of that word.) I cannot, and so, will not, claim you are insincere.

went there today, found it very interesting didnt see anything inside the house but kind of got the feeling that it was haunted as i was taking the tour because of all the history there. at the end i asked the tour guide about ghosts, he said one time in the office in the basement he heard a piano playing upstairs but yet no one was in the house. he also once saw a lady(ghost) walk by

Although I live 5 minutes from here now, I used to live only 2 blocks from here, in Colonial Heights, VA. It's not in Petersburg, although Petersburg DOES have its' fair share of documented hauntings. I've always heard the rumors of this property being haunted, and have yet to experience it myself. Now that I've seen this, I'm going for the tour. The giant cucumber tree is obviously being held up by lumber, and is considered a landmark.
