The thing about rosario is... the actors in Rent are supposed to portray real people.. you know? It's sorta supposed to be bad in a way... Rosario was too.. celebrity.. too clean sounding.. Dont get me wrong. It was a wonderful performance.. but that is sort of the problem with it. Mimi is a druggie. She needs to sound rough.

You must remember that these people were really young when they did rent and made it what it is today. So pay a little bit of respect whether you think she was horrible, she was the original Mimi who Jonathan Larson cast to be in his production - everybody followed on from her.

i do take in mind that they are very young but kepp in mind there are people at the age of 15 (very young) and are thrown into things like this and they do a very good job. and that's awesome that she was the first mimi but i am allowed to have my oppinion, and to be quite honest she is horrid, she cannot hold a note, well i think anyway
