  • @CrashJSTest i am not talking NOW. Go back to 1996, and talk about THIS vehicle. What was more expensive about the suspension? It was softer. that is all. as far as interior, the only benefit was extra sound deadining. Again back to my initial point, everyone indeed did badge engineer, but the domestics took the majority of the harping from the media and consumers. talking about the industry today, is irrelevant to this discussion.

  • @CrashJSTest better suspension is a subjective superlative. Each has merrit. But better 'plastics'? I just looked, and they have the same grains and same design. Not sure where you are getting your info, but they look identical to me. Quieter ride, perhaps. Regarding GM, actually, I am not sure what moodels you are speaking of to truly debate you. The objective of my initial comment was that Toyota is/was just as guilty at rebadges as the domestics. Yet they tend to get a pass. Bias.

  • @CrashJSTest oh so its better to charge more for the same thing?

  • It's nothing more then a Toyota LC with tha Lexus name.

  • nice way to pay $20,000 too much for a LandCruiser

  • badge engineering at it's finest. And people think only the domestics did this.
