Well, I can't speak for all girls, I can only tell you about my experiences.

My pa caught me "exploring" myself when I was about 7 or 8 and told me to never do that again because little girls don't do those things. No explanation, no nothing. He said, I'm the parent, trust me, don't do it.

Since then (until about a few months ago, actually) I haven't masturbated.

Sex drive, I'll leave that up to an unbiased (yeah, right) scientist. I guess it varies from person to person.
