Great video! I have two pits..a boy and a girl,both rescues! I love everything that pits are! They are the best. And pits that are mean, fighters, or have attacked...they don't know any better. They were either taught to be that way or mistreated to the point that they snap... in a desperate attempt for their life. And thats a sad thing. We as people, need to come together and do all that we can to help these wonderful animals.

Please, everyone, fight BSL. It does not work. What does work is passing laws that ban the chaining of animals as a means of confinement. Also, neutering laws and laws that punish irresponsible owners work. FYI, they are already breeding new dogs specific to fight to replace the pitt. We will only lose a wonderful family companion, not solve the real problem if this continues.

I have a twelve year old red girl named kate,she is the most loving steady dog I have ever owned.She's seen me through two bouts of breast cancer,comforted my sister who is a stroke surviver and is the proud foster mother to a year old staffie who the foster home could'nt keep because because their golden retriever wanted to eat her! Pit Bulls have been around for a long time(Little Rascals had one)and only in the last few years has thre been a problem but its the owners, not the breed. When I was growing up it was German Shepherds that had the bad name, then it was Dobermans, then Rotweillers(SP?). Give the dogs a break, but kill the owners instead.

Dogs are used as therapy for depression and many other emotional and physical disabilities as you and many people have experienced.
