  • Thumbs up if you already became an adult but still love the movie and soundtrack!

  • Watershipdown is a movie about humanity in guise of animals to show THEIR humanity. :)

  • @lenb20052005

their "humanity"? so anything we have common with other mammals (which is most everything) is because they have "human" in them? rubbish. we're from the same genus of them, of course we are similar to one another. the only thing that *really* distinguishes us from fellow mammals is our deep-thinking and even elephants and whales and magpies are capable of that...just in more limited areas.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this...it's a real treasure! Is there a Soundtrack: 08 by the way? I don't seem to be able to locate it! Thanks again!!

  • Holy crap, Angela Morley did this?

I'll never listen to a Goon Show the same way again! Awesome!

  • Watership Down is one of the most psychedelic films that i've seen (but so what, it's a masterpiece), but also one the most beautiful soundtracks that i've heard. love angela morley's work ♥

  • The score is just beautiful, as with everything else of the book and film.

My only complaint against the film was that it was too short. I think it would have made a great trilogy, just as the book was divided into three parts.

  • Thanks for uploading!

  • I love the book and the film, so many good themes such as the politics and life.

  • "all the world will be your enemy, prince with a thousand enemies. and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first, they must catch you."

  • Oh Frith...its been to long since we heard yer narrative voice.(Lol, I know its not him, don't bother replying)

Just read the book not to long ago; Love finally seeing the differences between it and the film adaption.

Thank you so much for posting all of this!

  • When I was a kid I had this whole film memorised word for word because I loved it so much!

  • this is one of my fave films ever i love the soundtrack too my mum told me i watched this over and over and over again when i was little lol. ah. thanks 4 posting.

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU MutantLeprechaun!!!!! This music is the best EVER! The moive is io sad and sad and sad and sad and sad and totally WONDERFUL!!!

    THANK YOUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • without question the best animated adaptation of a book, it pulls on every emotion. I truly love this movie and the music, and the book changed my life. Plague Dogs was R Adams true masterwork.

  • I live the music to this and the film is one of my two favourites, the other is The Plague Dogs..this music makes me cry almost instantly..it is so beautiful..I dont think anyone makes film scores this good anymore! And what an impressive orchestra for quite a relatively small feature...amazingly original!! Deserves tons more respect!!

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

  • I know that some people think that Watership down is just cruel.. but they just can´t understand how beautiful it is... people´s should learn about this story..

  • yes, I thought it was cruel first when I watched the movie. but then I (for some reason) watched it again, thinking "Well, it can't just be about blood!" so I did, and I loved it. I really had to fight to find the book since no library I knew how to get to had it. well, I found it and it's the best book I've ever read :) I love this story <3

  • I first saw it halfway through on cable; the movie channels. I was so pissed that no one had told me about the movie, because I simply LOVED the book

  • Among the best cinema music ever. It evokes the whole spirit of the book (which everyone must read).

  • @ajb1776 Read it and I wish they could kept some of the thing in book in the movie

  • @blackhole73

impossible. in a series maybe, not a movie.

  • One of the best animated films ever made. The music for this film is on a par of excellence with The Land Before Time.
