  • This is very fucking dangerous....someone will drop it on his head. Plus, you can do this standing, or do bench dips which works better anyway

  • mmm its ok. maybe try on a bench to allow it to lower further down. tri-dips and skull crushers are the basics and work effectively

  • well if you do it on a bench there is a lot of space behind your head to fully extend the dumbell on the negative rep , the floor is about 1 feet away from your head

  • Why not do that exercise lying on a flat bench, with the dumbell hanging over the end of the bench, for better range of movement?

  • the hardest damn muscle to work out. i been trying some custom styles of work out with a regular dumbells, i figured a nice way to work them out but it strains the shoulder.

    do you know of good ways to better the shoulder muscles (deltoy) or what ever its called

  • I don't think your triceps are easier to develop, but since the are bigger than your biceps, they do make your arm look bigger.

  • Exactly! Do it on the bench. OR just grab the sides(plates) of the dumbell for greater ROM. Duh

  • Why dont you do it on the bench so that you have more debth to his exercise and you can drop the dumbel more downwards. that would give more growth to your tricep.

    Or have i missed anything?
