I wouldn't give up on Take Control just yet. I'm sure his owners will do everything possible to rehab him. He's too talented to give up on.

i agree with most of you on her value but as a person viewing it from the breeding side she is not worth more then 400k. just look at her offspring

1.ARIENZA (USA) by giants causeway. NEVER RACED. sold at keenland in 09 for 800k

2. TAKE CONTROL by AP indy sold for 1.9 mill at 09 2yo keenland sale ran once and won. hasnt raced since.

i dont know what thiese people where thinking but a mare with under performing offspring is not worth what she went for.

Wow..sounds like 5 mil was the reserve..I would sure hate to be sitting there with my hand stuck out full of 4.4 mil and after all that action she just walks away......I would be brokenhearted. She is a stunner!

I used to look after her when she came off the track. Was very easy to deal with although a bit of a cow when she wanted be but an Altoid mint fix usually did the trick.
