Why do people try to seek out a supernatural entity, a God. A being for who's existence there is not one shred of evidence. The universe is what it is. The wonders that we can see and explore are endless . Why do we need to create imaginary entities like Fairys, witches, goblins and Gods?

There is no God. If you want a God,the entire universe is God. And humans are its awakening and its becoming self aware. The biblical god is just a story. But an important story. Religion is just a simple set of rules that is an importand part of our growing up as a civilization. But it has no more truth than Santa or the Tooth Fairy.

The music fits PERFECTLY! Spirit and Opportunity were only supposed to last 90 days. They have lasted 4 YEARS!!!  I think that is amazing. They are more handy than the recent Phoenix lander because phoenix can't move, the rovers can.

You should read a scientific book on space travel. I was amazed how engineers can use the gravity of a planet we've never even been to, to propel a spacecraft to another planet.

you are so narrow minded, we have been to one heavenly body for crying out loud...the moon. We have been no further and looking up into space and seeing that it is endless makes man seem weak and insignificant. Oh wow we use gravity, doesn't mean we are great.

You are so right: space travel under NASA is pretty pathetic. Here's my proposed solution: the first private company to land a person on Mars owns it. The race to Mars would spur both science and our economy to heights undreamed of by most.
