unless your going to overclock your CPU there was no point in getting a i7 2600 k and a liquid cooler. The inbuilt fan system in ur cpu and case fans will be sufficient for at least 4 years, but by then you would have replaced your ssd at least once and ur 2tb in about 5 years time. (PS Hitachi are terrible)

that computer sure was needed for you, i7's are brilliant though, 8gb is a good amount of ram (16gb is only needed for intensive after effects or visual effects) so your editing programs should run smoothly, i recommend, (now that you have a computer capable of it) that you find some graphics enhancers like the glsl shaders mod, a gtx 580 will give you great results. push your equipment to the limit and get the most out of it! and rock on!

@TheDakboy Building a PC is fairly easy. Research is your #1 tool. Finding out which components work best together and building one to suit your needs is paramount. Id say the easiest part is actually putting the components together.

I can tell that's gonna be great for you. I have a couple builds, one with a pair of gtx570s but otherwise basically the same, the other with an fx-8150 and two hd6950s. A note to anyone building something primarily for minecraft - go nvidia, they destroy AMD cards in MC and other OpenGL games. And get one more powerful card rather than two. Wolv has the right idea. But for CoD, BF3 etc, my AMD system is amazing.
