Dude, its kinda hard when playing a guitar, I only do it when playing guitar, it my opinion it makes playing easier because it makes the guitar more elevated thus making for more hardcore playing \m/

why not put the left leg up on something like a small practice amp or a small stool, and put the guitar on you left leg more of? To get a better picture in your head, look at a strat, put the guitar so that the bottom strap button is pretty much touching the inner thigh of your right leg. Another way to put it, most of the guitar weight will be on your left leg. The neck is like when standing, headstock towards the head more, and it's a nice elevation...

the guitar is great for the price it has great sound great playiabilty , it has a thin neck in wich you can shred the problem of the guitar is that the wood is very cheap and the scratches are insane if you accidantly hit the guitar I bought a schecter so i dont have the dean anymore my schecter is alot better than the dean btw but it`s alot more expensive
