  • Hi Andreas, I think your are very critical of yourself, and maybe experts can hear your mistakes, but this sounds great to me! Cheers to you, may your pipes always be in tune, or your audience to drunk to know!

    XD

  • I'm no expert on playing bagpipes, but I thoroghly enjoyed what I heard. You keep playing and I'll keep listening. Cheers!

  • You played the tune conscientiously.

    Very clear!

  • Thanks a lot for your kind comment!

    Greetings from German Bavaria!!

    Best regards

    Andreas

  • Hello Andreas,

Great piping even if you think there are mistakes, loved it and went into my favs!! Also the images were great to bring the emotion out! 5*****

  • Well done Andreas! Several have already mentioned watching the dots/cuts. The pipes sound good and I envy you your practice space!

  • Sounds great! Keep it up.

  • Thanks a lot!!!

    Greetings from Germany

  • Hey Andreas. Keep up the good practice. Best to music Edmund

  • Hi Andreas,

Nice job. Sounds great. Like the reverb effect, sounds like you are in a great hall. I think your observations are correct, some of the dot-cut figures are a little off. As far as constructive feedback goes, try not to round them. Hold the dots a little longer. Otherwise, super!

  • Thanks a lot my friend i will try to do it better next!

OMG always the same problem with dotted notes!

  • sounds good. I don't think you can do much better than that. keep up the great playing!

  • I like it!

  • One of my favorites!

  • wonderful as always Andreas. I think you are too hard on yourself at times but this seems to be a typical piper trait! Keep playing and posting your fantastic videos. Lewis' mum

  • Thanks for the comforting words!

Yes, I sometimes make high demands on myself!

I am therefore very often not satisfied with my performance!

    Best regards

    Andreas

  • your playing is excellent and you're an inspiration to others with your kind words.

As I said most of the best players are their own harshest critics!

Wee Lewis is equally hard on himself and often tells me that I can't really hear the faults (probably very true but I still enjoy the music lol) and this is when kind words from yourself and others really helps to encourage him. He also thinks that you're an excellent piper and hopes he can play just as well someday.

  • You are right!!!

Iám my biggest critic and that´s sometimes good ans sometimes don´t!!

    Thanks a lot!!!

I´m sure Lewis will play better than me one day!

He is very young and he can learn easyer than me and by the way i think he got the heart of a Piper!

  • that's cool reminds me of the first day of bagpipe lesson, you play like my old bagpipe tutor and i think he's a God with bagpipes

    well done

    5*****

  • I do not know how to answer it!

    You make me embarrassed!

    Thanks for the nice words!!!

    Regards

    Andreas

  • no really you play like my bagpipe tutor and he's really good, you playing makes me happy even on the bad days just like what he would of done

  • You are getting a lot better now Andreas... you now need to concentrate a little on your expression and let the melody flow

  • Thanks a lot for your kind words!

I think i know what you meaning!

    The Dot Notes!

    That´s my handycap!

    Regards

    Andreas

  • Just hold the held notes longer than you feel you should so that you really have to cut the short notes and this will give you a real nice snap to your expressional play

  • Thanks for the Tip!!!

    Cheers

    Andreas

  • @TheHighlandPiper
