good choice on the engine, if you ever try another one, i'd stick the 3.8 Series II supercharged in there, that thing would probably make a lil more power than the SHO engine, but i don't know if it'd fit

I raced a buddys mothers Bonnie with my 91 SHo that was old beat and tired. Not a chance for the Bonnie! LOL

The SHO was originally developed for a project car known as the GN34. The project was scrapped and the SHO's were then put into a limited edition Taurus. The SHO was originally developed to push 300 HP at 12 000 RPM.

Ford detuned the engine when it was dropped into the Taurus to keep it from whooping the Butt of the 5.0 Stang.

I am using the stock automatic transmission for the meentime. As for the motor mounts, I used the subframe from the Taurs SHO with all the stock driveline components, so there was no need to modify the stock located mounts.

Plating the chassis, is where you put Steel Plate across the uni-body to make it real solid and tough as $#!t :D

Remember, I reinforced the whole chassis. The best part is the frame I made under the chassis. Lets put it this way, I could run over a bolder sticking out like a dagger and it would not hurt the undercarriage! :D

This was the first drive man!

I rebuilt and changed the entire rear frame section, let alown put the subframe from the SHO in it. I had to make sure that nothing was going to break or come loose at first.

I always wanted a Ferrari and knew I could never afford one. So I excelled in shop class and working with cars. I acquired a workshop and tools over time, to make my dream come true, using the bulletproof engine from the Taurus known, as the "SHO".

I have the digital ECU just about ready and will continue working on my project dream car over time/material.....

If and when I get this car set up with the turbos and digital ecu, I will be sticking a $10 000 price tag on it so I can build another one with a complete tube Chassis with an Aluminum subframe. I would like to get a 84-87 Audi 5000 5 SPD Tran and make an adapter plate for the SHO, for a true MID ENGINE RWD! :D

I've had 6 SHO's now! 89, 91,92, 93,94 and a 95! At my shop, I have 4 SHO engines and 1 ATX Tran with a 5 speed on the floor. I would like to cast the case of the 5 speed with better aluminum and beef up the case, Plus I would like to make straight cut gears! :D

2 turbos going on ASAP. I have one more piece for the MegaSquirt to get and shes good to go! :D
