if you are trying to play isos that are wave 4 (like red dead redemption) you need to use an 'activate.iso' file. the process is simple, i'm pretty sure in one of mattie's files (either in this video or the other) ther is an iso called 'activate'. You need to burn this to a dvd, same way you burn other games. When you want to play wave 4, insert the activate disc, let it boot up, wait for it to say 'play dvd' then take it out and insert your game

only thing i changed was that i didnt change the break layer in the settings, another video said it takes care of it automatically and it works

No, never.

If your going to spend any money, spend a wee bit extra to get a disk that will work. Some cheap disks loose the data that is on them after a while, but good verbatim Dual Layer won't do this to you.

Yes, thats fine but remember that depending on the quality of your games burner will result in coasters. This means the game doesnt work at all when put into your Xbox. Verbatim are the best because they dont seem to get as many coasters. If i burn a game with my laptop ive got a 1 in 4 chances in getting a good copy of the game but if i use my Dual layer burner in my Desktop, the game will work fine. The cheaper disks coaster allot more m8, so just use the Verbs. Hope i helped :)

You cant because every xbox 360 game is made with a dual layer disk and if you put in a single layer disk burnt game into a flashed xbox 360 it'll still think its a all media dvd or corrupted dvd... i found this out by trying it out my self

alrighty im Burning MW2 to a blank duel layer dvd right now so i hope all goes well I did see when i put it in abgx it said it was Wave4 and ive read a little bit around that Wave4 makes u have that "Play Dvd" problem but lets hope i dont get that error

I followed all the steps in this video and the last video about flashing, and when i put in Assassins Creed 2 it comes up with "Play DVD" and i play it and all it shows is the Xbox 360 logo and i have options for playing a dvd like play pause etc. Is this to do with Wave 4 or anything? Thanks

@zap805 no...iv had this happen plenty of time before...1 u may have not put the dvd file into the abgx program or you just didnt get a good rip of the game itself......o ya...btw if ur modded xbox is not up to date with the current firmware then you will not be able to play newer games....for instance my xbox isn't so if i burnt mw2 and tried to play it, it wouldn't work because of the old firmware....hope this helped! :)
