  • JJ cale !!! the best one !!!!

  • You're right, along with everyone else that reminds me. I do, although, make sure to cut in the direction that sends waste chips away from my face.

  • thats bad not waering saftey goggles , i no its only splinters on wood flying out but can cause eye damage.

  • Nice, show everyone how cool and easy it is to do it, but don't show them a link to the plans...... Reminds me of Eddie Murphy's Ice Cream bit.

  • do you sell necks ? if so let me know how or where i can get one . i am in the process of building a guitar and im trying to find a neck i can make my jig off of or find one to copy the radiuses from . and i want to see how yours are made .

  • do you got plans on how to build that jig if so how do i get them

  • thats awesome! Do you sell the necks you make?

  • Interesting idea! You get a lot done with that overhead router. Who's that on the music machine?

  • I dont really see the point of this if you are not gonna tell us how to do it.

  • @mqmqmwmw I'm showing you what I figured out on my own. I'm not going to just tell everyone what to do. Then you'll all come back to me with "oh, this doesn't work, it's your fault cause it's your design". Maybe one day when I publish a book on jigging.

  • Could you say what kind of bit you are using

  • @dmac252 In the radius jig I use any bit wider than a 1/2". Once I tried a 1" dish cutting bit but the bottom of the profile was not fully flat so I changed over to a 3/4" straight bit with great results. Good luck!

  • Who needs robots?!?! Y My only question is, can you hear those bitchin tunes through those headphones?

  • Really awesome jigs. Thank you for sharing your craft. And please keep uploading the videos.

  • Thx for sharing your setup, I appreciate it. Nice, nice jigs ya got. Ok, let's see. hearing protection/check. Eye protection....uhh...uhh,...hangin' on the bench. Yikes! A Combo eye and hearing rig? ....hmmm....

  • I guess you can only do constant radius on this setup, or not? I've been working on a similar technique for compound radius necks, once I get it sorted out I'll post a vid. Again great vid!

  • @Ranman25 I guess you could do a compound radius if you set up the jig with tapered rails. The closer the rails are together the flatter your radius would be. Attempting this would include adjusting the jig for consistent depth of cut. I haven't even thought about that yet, maybe someday!

  • @TheRealRyanMartin Great idea. Canting the rails would be easy, you could just shim the board holding the neck to compensate for the depth of cut.

  • @Ranman25 you could definitely do a compound radius with this. the part that rides on the rails, just cut different size circles from each end! does that make sense?

  • Dang you found a way to use a router for everything!

  • what's that yellow thing hanging on the left there? ;) be careful! Awesome jig.. I may have to steal some ideas from you!

  • @KingNast Ahhh....that's where it is! I was looking for that face sheild.

  • great jig and sled set up

  • @Musiclogic Thank you!

  • Ryan, this jig is just amazing. Is there anyway you could be induced to make plans available?

  • Oh no, it's not flat!
