  • Not too bad on the freeway. You get used to it.

  • is it too loud with stacks or not bad?

  • Is this in novi jw.nice truck

  • ive got 4in turbo back on my 05 and i like the sound, but damn this sounds just like a semi, i like it!

  • 0:15 first gen!

  • love the sound of the cummins thru stacks

  • thats a nice truck man lovin the sound, cummins power

  • Where in michigan you from, im around kzoo. nice soundin cummins, my next truck :)

  • 'bout 30 miles north of Detroit.

  • Sounds awesome, always liked the sound of the Cummins.

  • how fast can you go on american highway ?

  • 70MPH here in Michigan.

  • shoulda goter with 4 on the floor there mang

  • cummins don't have 4 on the floor? for this year of the 2nd gen its only 5 spd stick, 6 spd stick and 4 speed auto.

  • MEAN

  • shoulda mashed on it when you pulled on the free way

  • holy crap. Talk about weird- I click on a random video and I've driven where you are at I don't know how many times. You are right in Utica on M59 weren't you? I didn't think that just looked familiar.

  • Yep...coming out of Costco!

  • hotrodx are you serious, 3" you are obviously not a cummins power fan, wuss,

you need a 6" stack or exhaust

  • If i was going to get an aftermarket exhaust it would probably be a 4". A 3" straight pipe would just be a temp setup if i was going to have a diesel.

  • You only "need" 6" pipe turbo back if you are running over 600hp... Other wise you loose turbo spool up time. Cutting the muffler and replacing with a 3" straight is just fine for a stock truck, or even slightly modified. If you chip, 4" is needed. :)

  • im wanting to put a 5 inch exhaust with the regular downpipe will i have any problems

  • 3" is WAY too restrictive.

  • Is this annoying on the freeway to you?

  • It can be after hours on the highway. Seems to be loudest in the cab at a steady 50-55 MPH.

  • I see. I was wanting a 3" straight pipe for our 01 dodge, dad said it would be annoying, just wondering.

  • Hotrodx199, if you like anything remotely close to a loud vehicle... Then it won't be annoying for you. Mine is a 3" sraight pipe on my 98 12v and it sounds beautiful. Certainly far from to loud.

  • Did that sign say Imlay city? That looks really familiar to me I used to deliver to home depots around MN WI IL IN and MI. your right north of detroit right?

  • Yep...sorry so long to reply!

  • lol you drive just like me, ppl get outta my way

  • Is it a 3 speed or 5 speed auto transmission??

    And again: GREAT TRUCK.

And the sound doesn't sound loud at all in the cab.

    DODGE RULES!!!

  • 5 speed (including overdrive). Thanks!

The camera doesn't quite pick up how it sounds, but it isn't too bad.

  • Sounds great bud! :)

  • damn that sound nice

  • indeed, nice video

  • WIT A MACHINE MAN NICE TRUCK BUD
