@NoahGriFFiNGUITAR you really can't make a fps on rpg maker you'll have to use a 3d game engine such as unity3d i use that to make my fps games. If you want to make rpg style games then you'll have to use this. Game Maker 8 (8.1 now) you can make a variety of games this is preferred by most people new to game creating. These are my tips.

FPS Creator would be the best solution. If your using Vista on a fairly powerful system, spend the extra 10 dollars and get FPS Creator X10 it's worth it.

It may not meet any online expectations, however with singleplayer it will work quite well.

That wouldn't be because of FPSC, you most likely got it from an untrusted website. Seeing as how if it was legally obtained it would be on a disc.

hmm, it seems you may have downloaded this program from a foreign site.

try re-downloading it and make sure the site shows the download is english language friendly.

if you've done all of that and it's still not working, try scrolling through the interfaces options.

@dannyvera9dannyvera ...srsly? That will take you quite a while to make I mean it takes companies about a year to make one and this is with a team of bout 40-50 people in it. And no, you can't with the RPG Maker XP software as it only uses a modified version of Ruby of which is very very difficult to make anything that is decently 3D in. You're going to want to look for C/C#/C++ tutorials and practice for many, many years before making anything 3D.

Spits easy go to layer 4 and double click on the Sign!! Now press on the list of event comands ! click on the comand saying show text.. and now just write what the Sign should say. you have to press space at the sign to talk with it ... ( remember you can always change the trigger...
