Well I think Obama was really smart for going to Hawaii. Not only did everyone see him enjoying the natural habitat of this beautiful place, but I bet it also gave him a good lift for dealing with the problems ahead of him concerning mainly the economy. I think that a trip to Hawaii was the first thing he needed, in order to continue into the transition to the White House. Also, he probably wanted people to view him as not your typical president would be viewed, but as for the true him.
