  • I kinda want one due to my interest in the early-1990s "multi-media" fad.

  • i wonder if james rolfe movies weren´t that pain in the ass to make if he actually owned one of these.

  • HOWEVER, the CDTV with its black keyboard and mouse plus the black monitor was a very sexy looking amiga

  • @2:05 "With CD Surround Sound"... From the Paula chip? I think not. That statement is almost as stupid as Sega printing "High Definition Graphics" on the Mega Drive.

  • @Lockmaster225 Okay, you're a douche. Pretty sure the CD audio output on these was the same as on every other CDROM drive back then, i.e ran right to the audio outputs on the back of the machine. Secondly, "High definition graphics" had no meaning back then - it was just a technical sounding phrase they used for marketing, to point out it didn't look fuck ugly like the NES.

  • @Lockmaster225 CD Surround sound was for CDs that were mastered in Dolby Surround\Pro-logic where the audio would be a standard stereo sound, but when passed through a compatible reciever w/ Dolby surround mode on.

  • Not the big breakthrough, the machine got in the world !

  • @2009European great push in technology by amiga, but it just didnt find a market - no one really understood what it was.

  • I had one of these but i was a little child and i broke it

  • Oh, the future as it was in 1992.

  • Biggest defining word: "would."

  • Sound interesting? 'UH HUH!"

  • I had one of these back in 1995.
