@bladerunner7522 I totally agree with you - one of the stupidist things she does in this scene is presisely this! another stupid thing that she does is that fact that she doesn't tell Jaws to drop the bit of wood that he was holding. she was lucky that he only knocked her hand away when she looked down to get the microfilm - he could have bashed her head in with it and there wouldn't have been anything she could have done!!!
