Yes it is extremely demonic. There are some videos on youtube that reveal the origins of the practices amongst other things and i was speechless at how demonic it is in it's root. It is the ultimate deception. Now i'm not surprised Yoga is everywhere. Rick Warren's website is currently promoting and recommending books by Richard Foster. One of the books is entitled, Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth. This book does not promote the Biblical idea of "Scripture alone." Foster calls on Christians to be involved in mystical practices in order to connect to God and to discover new revelations. Foster's book among other things encourages Christians to be involved in Transcendental Meditation.

New Age is of the devil? I think not. Read the Satanic Bible and then read Ekhart Tolle and then try to tell me they're the same thing! I thought New Age just taught meditation, relaxation, holistic lifestyle and all that. It seems pretty benign, corney and overly optomistic though it is. Besides, nobody has ever killed in the name of New Age, the same cannot be said of God.

some though not all Saddleback small groups bible studies go through books of the bible verse by verse. I go to Saddleback. I am a born again Christian who committed my life to Jesus at Saddleback. I became aware of God's existance, my pride and separation from God and my need for repentance at Saddleback. Christians need to focus on the great Commandment and the Great Commission and stop wasting time telling other Christians they're going to hell because they don't say "repent" enough.

What about living by the Golden Rule we were thaught in Kindergarten? Why not tolerate each others myths? Why all the proselytizing and forced conversion? If it is forced, it is not free will, is it?

Think about it. Ask a non-christian who is good at leadership training to come into a church (you know, the place we want non-christians to come!) and give us pointers on a neutral non-religious topic. I think it's a great way to start a dialogue about beliefs and share the Good News with a person.

Yes it is extremely demonic. There are some videos on youtube that reveal the origins of the practices amongst other things and i was speechless at how demonic it is in it's root. It is the ultimate deception. Now i'm not surprised Yoga is everywhere. I had to repent and renounce any demon that I allowed to enter me by performing yoga a couple of times in the past..it's no joke. I bet it will be what the majority turns to after the rapture. This book does not promote the Biblical idea of "Scripture alone." Foster calls on Christians to be involved in mystical practices in order to connect to God and to discover new revelations. Foster's book among other things encourages Christians to be involved in Transcendental Meditation.

some though not all Saddleback small groups bible studies go through books of the bible verse by verse. I go to Saddleback. I am a born again Christian who committed my life to Jesus at Saddleback. I became aware of God's existance, my pride and separation from God and my need for repentance at Saddleback. Christians need to focus on the great Commandment and the Great Commission and stop wasting time telling other Christians they're going to hell because they don't say "repent" enough.

Jesus Christ a solar deity? That's one I never heard, where did that come from? Jesus was crucified for our sins and rose on the third day, proving he is God Almighty. As for not dwelling in temples you are correct, he dwells in all who repent of their sins and receive God's forgiveness by faith. As for solar deity, Jesus created the sun and controls it and everything else.

I went to a Mega Church for 8 years. Having a background in a Baptist Church.
The Mega Church slowly became more and more, just like a Roman Catholic Church. Ash Wednesdays, Lent, Confession, became the great thing to do in that Mega Church.
I believe that because the Catholics are leaving the church because of many of the Molestation charges, that the Ecumenical Movement is totally directed by the Vatican, And is being washed and funded, so to speak, through the Masons and Shriner witches

Right! That's what we believe, that truth can be known, kind of like 2+2=4, any other answer, wrong. Even people who believe each individual has his own truth will die if they take cyanide, just like anyone who believes truth is objective. Truth doesn't depend on who does or doesn't believe it, and God doesn't depend on people to give him permission to exist.

Much of the "church" has traded it's heavenly mandate for an earthly, temporary opportunity to "rule" and "reign". The church in Germany sided with Nazism hoping to share power, today the church is embracing a blend of communism and paganism. It's gradual. And it's exemplified by people such as Gorbachov, Blair and Rick Warren. This is all culminating in a "new world religeon". Sarah's vid is on the money.

I no longer attend Rick Warren's Saddleback Church. He just recently approved same-sex marriage and apologized to his gay friends for his previous support of Prop 8. The fact that Warren supports a man who legalized partial birth-abortion (Obama) is another reason to denounce Rick Warren as nothing more than an agent for the New World Order. I watched for about 2 minutes and said, "This guy is a new ager disguised as a christian" that set off a mess of fireworks, but . . WHERE ARE THE DR. BILL BRIGHTS TODAY? @jackinla8 I read Rick Warren's A Purpose Driven LIfe and liked it initially. I did not see anything wrong with it until I realize that he is not preaching about sin and its consequences. Worse, I found out that Rick Warren is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. No man of God could ever be a member of a secret society hell bent on destroying America's sovereignty and establishing a world government.

The apostasy churches and their minions are infiltrating Bible believing groups in order to usher them into a one world religion under the auspices of a false prophet. My .02, just step back from the details and all I see with guys like that is they are running a successful buisness. I hear Shuller's son was preaching down more of a Biblical orthodox Christian path. Funny how he got the boot. Not worthy to take over the family buisness. Itching ears are in style as it was when Paul addressed the early church. People in those times brought swelling pontificaters in to speak and woo people. Soon ärguements erupted as to who different factions were following.

I do not fear death, I WELCOME IT with open arms, for I know that when I pass From this life, i will be in the presence of my Heavenly Father, and My Lord Jesus, To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. First of All , the New Testament writers referred to Jesus as "Christ", And although that is his birth name, Christ was his title. The Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. It is not some cosmic force, that can be attained by any person who encounters enlightenment. "It is not some cosmic force..." Yes, it has been called the 'Cosmic Christ' because this aspect of God called LOVE is tuned with the Heavens and comes to Earth roughly every 2,000 years. Christ Consciousness IS attainable by ALL ~ only that way can You do the things he did, "and greater things".

ALL religions were concocted in antiquity from prevailing superstitions incorporating myths idols cults etc. Then man searched deeper for meaning. There have been True Prophets with a PURE message of COMPASSION but all have had their message corrupted by those who claim to quote them. Why? to rule/dominate/scam by using FEAR and HOPE. ALL religions are Myths perpetuated in their 'HOLY' Books, a copilation of many ancient religious stories from the region. Many of the original Gnostic Text in the Christian Bible have been deleted because it did not fit the Agenda of those who concocted it. What about living by the Golden Rule we were thaught in Kindergarten? Why not tolerate each others myths? Why all the proselytizing and forced conversion? If it is forced, it is not free will, is it?

How can so many of these megachurch founders and televangelists be so blind? The blind will lead the blind into the pit. I'm convinced will full assurance that Satan works in these churches, why wouldn't they? They are the best places to work, just like cities are better than towns, megachurches are better than churches.

The inferiority complex of the followers of Islam, caused by their military impotence against insurmountable weapons is accelerating our collective demise. Our addiction to fossil fuels is second in the list of threats to our little 'blip' on this planet. Surely if we don't hurry in overcoming these issues we will not see many more generations after ours.

You are incorrect. He gives away 90% of his earnings to missions. He teaches that sin separates us from God and that belief in Jesus and repentance are necessary to put in relationship with Christ, with one result being eternal life. I believe that the repentance needed here is from you for your slander of a Christian brother. Ps 31:13 Mt 26:60 Eph 4:31

I think it's a brilliant form of evangelism.
Think about it. Ask a non-christian who is good at leadership training to come into a church (you know, the place we want non-christians to come!) and give us pointers on a neutral non-religious topic. I think it's a great way to start a dialogue about beliefs and share the Good News with a person.

Priceless how all the denominations of Christianity (and all other religions) incessantly bicker and quarrel amongst themselves claiming theirs to be the only "true" version. God apparently did not deliver his message with the clarity that one would expect of someone with his unlimited powers. Or have the sheep in his flock not evolved enough to grasp it?
