I believe Fire Mountain is harder than Icicle Pyramid. Because the eggs in your nest can be stolen. It's not easy the protect your egg until it hatch.

I love the mini games... I love the tracks... The sound... The gameplay... Oh it should come to virtual consle!... And I want a Diddy Kong Racing 2 !! Why don't microsoft let rare do one for the Xbox... the xbox still have no go good kart game, so...

@Silentium92 because nintendo owns the right to anything to do with kong :) such as donkey kong, diddy kong etc. But sure they could make a game without those characters i guess.

my favorite part in the game was capturing the eggs! we would put the eggs in other people's nest and when the egg stops blinking they would have to take a shot lmao. it was the best.

This game IS better than Mario Kart 64. Once you get over the kiddy factor in this game, there is so much more to do. Mario Kart 64 was fun for a while but the fact there were absolutely NO unlockables besides Mirror Mode is disgusting, it gets so boring once you beat all the Time Trials. DKR had much more to keep you playing, unlocks and an overworld, also the item system employs strategic planning which is worth your while. Later Mario Kart games just get plain unfair, blue shell anyone?

HEY!!!! YOU FORGOT THE 5H KEY.... when you beat the game you go into a hard mode and when you get to spaceport alpha on hard mode (right at the beggining about 10feet away) iv never actually seen the last level :'(
