The reason they are more popular is because of that, and the fact that Hummer brand no longer exists. Luckily, I had the money to buy an H3 and customize it. It has basically aftermarket everything, and its DAMN good offroad, outperformed countless cheaper Jeeps. I could show you pictures of it, but I'm not making a video for an uninformed anonymous person as yourself.
Actually look at the specs for the Jeep ZJ or XJ, and Look at the specs for a H1 the original hummer... The original Hummer is based off the Jeep Platform actually. They both use Dana Axles, they both use the same transfercases. (NP242) once is just stronger axle and transfercase wise, and the Hummer 1 uses electronic lockers in the diff's. Thats the only real difference between the 2 TBH, body engine asside..

Well i was talking about an H1 vs the older ZJ Grand Cherokee's from the 90's. TBH i would rather have a ZJ over an H3 if i were to go offroading. Thats just my prefrence i think the ZJ is one of the most capable off-roading vehicles on the road right now especially stock vs stock. Of course the newer grand cherokee's today are rediculous with Electronic locking diff's and all that junk.. they just dont have the flex anymore

A stock H3 will not win against a stock Jeep, in fact, a stock JK Rubi will drive over top of any H3 or H2. Lockers, tough frame, sway bar discos, heavy duty dana axles (44 rear/front rubi), heavy duty transfer case, etc etc.

Land Rovers suck. Hummers suck. I am a mechanic and have worked on both. They are hard to fix, and expensive to get parts for. Worst part is, they need to be fixed so often!!! I own a 94 Grand Cherokee ZJ. 318 V8 Quadra-Trac A/T's. I have never had to do any engine work, trans work, or any kind of suspension work. Great feeling to PULL A LAND ROVER OR HUMMER OUT OF 2 INCHES OF SNOW!!! Best feeling, 28 mpg highway, been forced off into a ditch by idiots, and came back out just as fast. Paid 3.5k.

Ok, H2's that are made to be limo's are both stupid and dont have a stock frames. And H2's are a pain in the ass to fix, they have little engine room to manuever tools through, and are expensive because of longer shop time. Rovers are expensive to fix here in the States, as all other European Imports, and made stupidly for mechanics. The 28 mpg is all freeway, running on good road tires, and cruising at 65 mph @ 1700 rpm. So shut the fuck up if u drive differently and have different experiences
Well, seeing as I am only 18, yeah I cannot afford anything else. 5 years of apprenticeship and 4 years of vo-tech college do not pay you much, but rather allow me to keep my jeep in tip-top shape. And I know many people much older than I that drive Jeeps just as happily as I do. And they have driven many other 4X4s. I have personally driven mudders, trailriders, Hummers, Rovers. I keep to my Jeep because it suits my needs. And try getting a hummer around my farm. Wont even get through the gate.

The reason they are more popular is because of that, and the fact that Hummer brand no longer exists. Luckily, I had the money to buy an H3 and customize it. It has basically aftermarket everything, and its DAMN good offroad, outperformed countless cheaper Jeeps. Actually look at the specs for the Jeep ZJ or XJ, and Look at the specs for a H1 the original hummer... The original Hummer is based off the Jeep Platform actually. They both use Dana Axles, they both use the same transfercases. (NP242) once is just stronger axle and transfercase wise, and the Hummer 1 uses electronic lockers in the diff's. Thats the only real difference between the 2 TBH, body engine asside..
This is why Jeep is so capable, similer to an H1

Well i was talking about an H1 vs the older ZJ Grand Cherokee's from the 90's. TBH i would rather have a ZJ over an H3 if i were to go offroading. Thats just my prefrence i think the ZJ is one of the most capable off-roading vehicles on the road right now especially stock vs stock. A stock H3 will not win against a stock Jeep, in fact, a stock JK Rubi will drive over top of any H3 or H2. Lockers, tough frame, sway bar discos, heavy duty dana axles (44 rear/front rubi), heavy duty transfer case, etc etc.

So AMG created the Humvee... later the H1 was created (built exactly the same), just with interior creature comforts. And just cause they still use them, doesn't mean anything? And finally the best part about a hummer is they make a great road car too. First off they go faster then 70mph, they can go around turns quickly without rolling over. & i can bring the whole family & luggage, unlike the jeep which has no trunk & you have to cram 4 people in it. I've been in the jeep they are tight, they are more useless then the hummer. Oh & did i mention with your tiny little engines we get close to the same MPG.

thats why you never see a fucking hummer pulling out a jeep. the only hummer that was worth a shit was the original one. and you damn right im 19 years old. but im not a fucking punk you faggot prick who thinks he is better then everyone around him. i got a job and i take care of my family to the best of abilty and i believe in god and go to church every sunday. and i have seen other 4x4 and aint none of them worth having unless its a jeep. im stock and can still out ride your fake money ass.

Land Rovers suck. Hummers suck. I am a mechanic and have worked on both. They are hard to fix, and expensive to get parts for. Worst part is, they need to be fixed so often!!! I own a 94 Grand Cherokee ZJ. 318 V8 Quadra-Trac A/T's. I have never had to do any engine work, trans work, or any kind of suspension work. Great feeling to PULL A LAND ROVER OR HUMMER OUT OF 2 INCHES OF SNOW!!! Best feeling, 28 mpg highway, been forced off into a ditch by idiots, and came back out just as fast. Paid 3.5k.

Ok, H2's that are made to be limo's are both stupid and dont have a stock frames. And H2's are a pain in the ass to fix, they have little engine room to manuever tools through, and are expensive because of longer shop time. Rovers are expensive to fix here in the States, as all other European Imports, and made stupidly for mechanics. The 28 mpg is all freeway, running on good road tires, and cruising at 65 mph @ 1700 rpm. So shut the fuck up if u drive differently and have different experiences

Well, seeing as I am only 18, yeah I cannot afford anything else. 5 years of apprenticeship and 4 years of vo-tech college do not pay you much, but rather allow me to keep my jeep in tip-top shape. And I know many people much older than I that drive Jeeps just as happily as I do. And they have driven many other 4X4s. I have personally driven mudders, trailriders, Hummers, Rovers. I keep to my Jeep because it suits my needs. And try getting a hummer around my farm. Wont even get through the gate.

hummers are over-priced over-glamourized over-sized matchbox cars. the only ones i can still sort of respect are the humvees! and even that is solely limited to the ones defending us over seas! not the ones being driven here by poorely endowed, over-paid assholes like Hummer4xmore that are only paying 100 grand out of their daddys trust funds, or from the money they make sitting behind a desk on the 50th floor of some downtown new york building.

thank ya thank ya very much (in my best elvis voice).i'm happy my point was made. the truth of the matter is; jeep has made america what it is. free. i like to keep my loyalty in the right places. since the american bantam company submitted the first prototype till now, jeeps have given americans the reliability and capability we've come to know. it has helped give us all the freedom to choose our own paths. even if that means drivin a barge named after a favor their old lady does for me. up^

I wanted a h1. H2 are not fare. GM knew they had a chance to come up on serious cash. Bush had a kick back for the large suv's. GM made the top of the line silverado name into a budget truck! The world's most popular suv from the Desert Storm War on oil is to name plated to a city suv (suburban) it's the truck HUMMER! I could only afford the down payment on the h2 . Screw that I bought a XJ with cash. I got a few goodies to get in to trouble with now. cash talks xj's RoCk America!
