  • haha yeah i bet! but a good operator(like myself) shoulb be able to handle it OR keep his torches in tip top shape for precise cutting! Them dogbone casters are cool! i believe theyre also known as beam blanks right?? I didnt know the dogbones were that wide either, 46"?? Thats a nice width for a dogbone CCM. I bet it's hard to keep thoes going for a while considering the mold has 12 sides to monitor?

  • that would be the strand torch cutting the strand

  • @kdjfnvjvd

Guess what happens when that torch goes down ;)

  • @LanterRogue I already know what happens,..... U get the damn emergency torch and cut it! Its a damn billet caster i can cut that in 5 seconds! Try cutting an 8 inch thick SLAB 60 inches WIDE with an emergency torch and then maybe we'll talk shop. .....if ya can handle it. :p

Try a 46" dogbone, [-----], sure the web is only 2.5" it's the flange on the far side that gets you. NYS2
