Koh Lipe - Pattaya Beach, Thailand Andaman Coast

I was there january 2007. Was still very laid back. I do hear things on tourism but it is far from Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta etc. I would try it. Otherwise Koh Jum would be a nice alternative just off Koh Lanta. No electricity etc. Enjoy!!

true - we were there in 2004, just before the Tsunami actually, & stayed along the beach from this vid at Mit Family Bungalow's & restaurant, next to a small bar, called Moonlight I think, a local guy called John ran it. I hope it's still good as we plan to go back in october but I'm a bit concerned about some of the comments saying that tourism has ran wild & spoiled it...

@ledaddymac I fully agree Daddy Mac! This is the seconc best and beautiful (Thai) islands I have ever been too. Great snorkling, diving, walking, little drink/parties on the beach at night, fabulous seafood-bbq etc etc. No very boring to me :-)
