@valiantred4 It doesn't really matter for the Imperial Guard. We have armour made of cardboard, we'll die anyway. And if the sergeant fails to inspire the troops, the Commissar is waiting with his bolt pistol.

IG armor is made out of advanced nano mesh and dense combat plastics

@l0rf nope slandered IG flack armor is made of deveral layers of ablative thermoplast materials and impact absorbent carbifibres. Far more advanced than what we have now while carapace armor is made of rigid plates of armaplas and ceramite moulded to fit the wearer

@GuiltyFaT True, it's not the same as a kevlar vest, but it's roughly as effective compared to the increased weapon technology. It'l protect you from the odd shrapnell or stray shot, maybe even a grazing hit, but you simply have no protection from a direct hit with a military-grade assault weapon.

@l0rf true many Xeno armor is the same or better you need to remember that not all IG armor is built the same any, depending on which world it was made it is able to resist a direct bolter round.

I have the Books as well and they always say when describing the weapons and armor of mankind is that "IT is a Galaxy of Guns" million upon millions of different patterns and types from auto guns to the mighty Melta lances to the strange grav guns.

2nd 1 SM counts as 1 and s half CSM but still they way you play matters because the game is balanced very well ! Still i like the Dark Eldars PWNS !
