It's tail is too long to be a chipmunk..but it's way too small for even a piney and the coat is different. (you can see the size difference if you look at our squirrel Seymore.) Are you still feeding it formula?

The statement "this is not a squirrel it's a chipmunk" is rather ignorant of the taxonomy of animals. Chipmunks are a variety of squirrel. Only in America do we make the mistake of using the word "squirrel" to only refer to grey squirrels and no other kinds.

Squirrels are not good pets. Most of these videos are people who raise them for release in the wild. There's a trick to it, and you can't treat them like pets. It's quite a lot more difficult than it seems. As for pets, think of them as cute rats, except they pee everywhere.

It is not a chipmunk. It is a baby palm squirrel, native to South Asia. They look very similar to chipmunks, but are a little bigger and have a longer tail.
