I also think INDY should allow the drivers to be a bit more aggressive and tell the wining babies to shut up and be men. INDY really needs to get something other than Danica and Dancing Helio to get attention. Maybe some good Ol' Trash talking and rivalries would help bring the excitement back. And get new people to broadcast next year. Even if its still on Versus. I feel like the current crew just has no idea what to say sometimes.

I think the problem is that it's pretty much a race been between Penske and Chip Ganassi Racing, only one other team won a race this year and no Americans won any races in 2009.

Yes I do see your point about TCGR and Penske. I wonder when it comes down to it if its really a power issue or car setups. I know a good setup helps but feel another team would be able to compete better from time to time. Are the TCGR and Penske driver braver? No because Dan Wheldon is proof. He appeared to be a great driver in the #10 TCGR car, but struggled in the #4 Panther car. He is a very talented driver. So this shows its a car issue in my mind. So is it power or setups?

The Versus tv contract is gonna kill the series. I can't see how it can survive another hapless season of 0.2 ratings.

@IndyandNascarsuck I'm a true INDY Fan! I'm one of the truly dedicated fans. I will say I have to agree with you here. I just don't like the Versus Broadcasts. We need to get INDY back on SPEED TV. I doubt the series will die but I do feel it will fail to grow fast.

more series means more drivers, which means better competition, which means better races... and more races. I don't care what name it goes by as long as its open wheel. F1, IRL, Indy lights. Open wheel racing ftw.
