  • I live like two mins up from tht. plus it was like 2:00 oclock in the morning!! I was fast asleep! I woke up and heard one firengine! Someone in primary 6 his dad worked in that mill!! Poor him! The pictures were like all over facebook! I saw them and i was like wow! When i got to school my headteacher was worried about the chemicals in the air and we had to go inside the school (wich i thought was pretty stupid!) plzzzzzz ck my channel :)

  • So what happened? Was it one of those "convenient" fires? So many buildings on the heritage register where the owners want to redevelop accidentally burn to the ground for no apparent reason just before they get heritage listed...

  • @dangerouslytalented It had just been purchased and 2 businesses were moving in after it being vacant for a year. An unlicensed welding crew was cutting pipes and started the fire which blossomed an hour after they left the building. They were required to have a fire safety official on site for the work. They didn't have that official on hand, the penalty for not getting that safety permit and official, NOTHING! A law with no teeth. This factory produced the barrage balloons for D-Day.
