I usually agree with most of what Drew and Nestor have to say, but in short, to criticize what the FO has done this winter is simply idiotic. They've made this a feared lineup, revamped the bullpen, added a starter, added the best DH in the game, and finally got rid of the Gruesome Twosome in left field. We've seen more being added this offseason, than the last 5 combined. The only thing that has to happen, is the young staff to step up. The bats have been added. Andy didn't lie this time.
I agree w/ Nestor most of the time about what's wrong with the O's. However, if you look at the state of franchise today, and where it was at before AM took over, I think any objective evaluator would say that AM has been a positive influence. It's not like if the O's had matched the NYY or PHI offers for C. Lee, he would have signed. The O's dug themselves into a deep hole and there's no easy way out. No MLB opens their books, so I think it's a little unfair to be so critical of these answers.
