  • This is one of many favorites of mine...when I was a kid I used to hear our upstairs neighbor crank up the TJB on his great old stereo on Sunday mornings, and I remember it like it was yesterday every time I hear this song. That started my love for this group, and I've been a fan ever since. Just wish I'd been able to see them in person. Thanks TJB for great songs and great memories!!

  • Great tune! - Too bad I was not born yet when this came out - Btw, I love the stuffed animal in the video sitting in the chair admiring Herb Alpert while he plays (LOL)

  • one of my favorites from the SRO album, always loved it....the whole album was fantastic.....thanks for sharing this gem!

  • THAT DRUMKIT IS MOVING HOW IS THAT DOING IT

  • Great tune, this reminds me of summer 1966 when here in the UK this was played a lot on the Offshore Radio stations, great memories as they say back then music to swing by!

  • This music brings back such great memories of my childhood. My neighbor used to play a lot of the TJB over outdoor speakers in the summer, especially when he threw a party for the neighborhood. Swimming, badminton, beanbags, the smell of food cooking on the grill and this music playing in the backround,it just doesn't get any better than that.To me this music will always be synonymous with summertime fun. 1960's sure was a great time to be alive!!

  • And if people should wonder why the 60's were such a marvelous period for music fans from this period, well here's a superb example.........What a Tune........To say the thruth, we are very happy (2011) that we were witnesses of these great times......

  • this was off of the ALBULM S.R.O. which i feel was the TJB'S MASTERPIECE ! i love the whole albulm

  • God, if women would just go back to skirts and dresses, I'd be a much happier man!

  • FLAMINGO just might be my all time favorite by herb alpert and the tijuanna brass, i cannot tell you how many times i've heard it but i never tire of it.

  • What is the name of the first one?

  • This is a classy clip from the BBC, the set and the girls add quite a bit to the ambiance!

  • Fantastic...

  • HELLO! THANK YOU FOR PUTTING VIDEOS OF HERB AND TIJUANA BRASS IN MY UNCLE I heard a lot Turntable WEE MOVED THE ROPE I grew up I LOVE UNTIL TODAY ALL THEIR SONGS.

  • Of course, this is a recording and they're faking the playing, but it's still fantastic to see the live appearance from 1967. I loved them and had many of their records, but only remember seeing them in a special. Hard to believe an instrumental group could be so on fire back then. How times have changed. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • Herb is FANTASTIC, not many artists to regularly chart without actually singing in many songs, all his tunes are memorable. This is one of his very best.

  • I agree, absolutely awsome. I just caught it on the BBC a couple of weeks ago. I remember the old chap had one of his albums, which I enjoyed as a kid. The sounds, mixing and production are brilliant. The staging by the late Peter Gordeno along with the music and the artists makes it a "cult" performance. A gem.

  • Sublime. From the album S.R.O. ( = Standing Room Only ), which I've just added to my Amazon shopping basket.

  • Incredible tune.Very addictive.Superb melody and brilliant drumming!

  • This is absolutely sublime and truly inspired

  • I truly believe that it is physically impossible to tire of listening to his music.

  • Until I looked back at these videos I had forgotten how handsome Herb Alpert was! After all these years I never get tired of listening to his music!

  • miming

  • That was awesome, thankyou...

  • Super!!!

  • Beauty is in eyes of the Beholder.

    That's my mom would say.

    Love,

    T

  • Excelling too

  • Boy, never realised that Herb was so sexy. 5* for the song & 10* for Herb.
