yeah on the album credits it says aaron m, aaron g and spencer wrote the song.

and on the DVDs, they say that aaron gillespie and spencer wrote most of the lyrics and tim looked after music, but they all had their own input... im guessing that aaron, aaron and spencer, got together wrote it... and then decided who would do what parts...

i think aaron gillespie could have done it as well as aaron m, but it was good for some versatility.

I do believe what you said about bringing him in cuz Aaron Gillepsie couldnt sing it like him. Listening to all the live versions though Aaron Marsh doesnt sound as good on it LIVE as the recorded version.

actually aaron marsh is defintly the better singer, if you listen to his stuff with his band copeland (they're amazing) you'll really see how good his voice is. But with underoath at a live concert, it doesn't really fit in as well, and doesnt sound as good. Aaron Gillespies voice fits much better in with Underoath, making it sound better. This is such an amazing song and i love how Underoath got Aaron Marsh to sing it with them, that was great. Great way to end They're Only Chasing Safety.
