  • Okay,, so i am so so so so in love with this band. what are all the band members names again, though? and what do they play? :).

  • it gives me shivers when spencer screams..

  • I think that it's been established here that:

    1) people hate copeland

    2) people like copeland

    3) Aaron marsh from copeland is guest singing

    4) some people are haters of the vocals, if you think you can do oh so much better then do it, and post it. I'd love to hear what an angels voice you have.

    5) people OBVIOUSLY like this band because they watched the video.

    6) underoath rules :)

    7) this song gives goosebumps (me too, I love it -3 first time I heard this my iPod was on shuffle, I put this so

  • I wish they still did this live. I think Timmy and Spencer could pull it off :)

  • i love you for uploading this....

  • was it aaron marsh singing? he sounds like aaron marsh if you'll ask me...

  • From 2:30 to the end, it sounded exactly like the studio version.

Ahhhh, I can't believe how amazing they sound live<333

    I'm obsessed with this song(:

  • fucking a m a z i n g.

  • Aaron Marsh and Aaron Gillespie. Two of the greatest voices of all time. Along with one of the greatest screamers. Great song

  • one of the Most Amazing Songs of All Times......Jesus Loves You!!

  • Too bad he had to leave the band.... :(

  • Are yall so ignorant to know who the vocals are?

  • who's that singing?

  • his name's aaron marsh,i think

  • @MarkusBeavis Aaron Gillespie is the clean vocalist and drummer but sings this song completely.

  • That's God's call to us. He knows we're unfaithful, ungraceful, and unloving, but still he always turns back to tell us that he loves us.

Why can't we do the same? Pray for your enemies and love those who hurt you, because God loves us, and we hurt him on a daily basis.

    =)

  • thank youuu.

  • @NoobyMac bcuz its not human nature

  • @NoobyMac The reason why it's hard is because we are fighting against what we were raised into thinking. It's difficult, but i agree that it would be worth it to fight to be closer to God, it still amaze's me how no matter how far away i get or how dissapointed i make him he still loves me the same exact way, it's my own personal miracle. :)

  • Ooh i like copeland!

  • this song is giving me goosebumps

  • Jesus será que pode nos levar pra casa ??

  • we're so unfaithful and ungraceful, and unloving, but he still loves us! this song is beautiful.

  • Wow, I was actually there but had forgotten... I love this song so much, and Aaron Marsh too. Thanks for the video. :3

  • wow, i wish i was there to experience such intense worship..

  • hahaha! the best! if u want more christian band juz search for august burns red, living sacrifice and antestor

  • man, everytime, holy crap. why doesn't underoath write more songs like this. i love their new stuff from lost in the sound but this was them at their best when they wrote this. Worship compleatly, listen to the crowd at the end, there is no way to just sit back and not scream, "jesus, i am ready to come home". man, love these guys

  • This song is amazing, i get goosebumps when ever spencer starts singing at the end. It's a beautiful song.<3

  • Goosebumps, everytime.

  • i love copeland, but aaron marsh is awful live.

  • do you have aids?

  • 525,600 minutes.

  • he was in 2006 after they had just finished a 15 song set...but go see him now.

  • awesome! is Bill from tokio hotel, on aaron gillespie's shirt

  • Comment removed

  • aaron marsh does a good job in this song...along with gilespie and spencer filling in the background which is nice...

  • that's the first constructive comment about music i've ever seen on an underoath video.

    respect

  • aaron marsh sings a thousand times better when he has good audio.. copeland forever ftw !!!... i love uo but copeland fits better with me.. and i'm a metalhead! :p

  • The singer is from the band "Copeland" his name is Aaron and he recorded the original track i have to say taht i like copeland mora than underoath

  • aaron is from underoath he is the drummer

  • The aaron Oscar is referring to is the aaron from Copeland, the one who is guest singing in this song.

There IS an other Aaron on Underoath as well, so you are correct as well Warren :)

  • oh well i think aaron from underoath should sing this his voice = ahmazing =D

  • Its strange but this song always inspire me to write. The lyrics are very powerful, so is the music, it has intention. A great piece.

  • aaron gillspie is on drums. aaron marsh from copeland is singing.

  • Comment removed

  • who is that up there singing? I thought it was aaron who was singing. It definitely was not Spencer but it looked kinda like Grant. But who was it?

  • its the lead singer from copeland. aaron is on the drums.

  • I know Aaron is on the drums

  • that dude recorded the original track for this song with underoath

  • aaron is the singer from copeland, another aaron (gilespie) is on the drums like always for UO

  • it's aaron marsh, from copeland. aaron gillespie is on the drums and spencer comes out at the end.

  • H4l01001 umm yea this song is definitely about jesus forgiveness, not girlfriends.

  • i wish i could of been there for that...that is sweet

  • who is playing drums ?

if aaron is at the mic

  • its aaron from copeland singing

  • oh o thanks

  • best underoath song

  • 2:40,,,,omg. This is honestly my favorite song ever. Everytime this song goes on my girlfriend is in my head. Love it.

  • Don't mean to burst your bubble, but this is about God. But, if you relate it to your girlfriend, that's cool.

  • thank you. a wonderful post

  • wrap your loving arms around me!

jesus, im ready to come HOME!!!!

  • chills

  • I'm not religious at all but I love this song. For some reason it makes me cry.

  • This is so crazy but if you look at Aaron [from Copeland] at like :54 he has a mo-hawk from the strobes it's seriously a sick neon blue mo-hawk that last for like 3/4 of the second...

  • haha. yeah thats pretty funny.

  • OMG OMG CHILLs= 2:40

  • i agree with that dude down there

it gives me chills a 2:40

  • its aaron marsh from copeland

    but their disbanded already

  • copeland disbanded? you are so wrong

they just got signed to T&N and will release a cd soon

  • Nah, Copeland is still going strong! They just went back to their old label instead of being conformed by how their new one wanted them to change.

  • strong chills at 2:40 when the whole place sings

  • same here dude. its such a powerful song!!

  • that is aaron from copeland, they are an amazing band, check them out.

he actually is the one who sang it in the studio

  • whos singing if aaron is playing drums

  • its aaron from copeland =]

  • no dumbass aarons from underoath

dont correct anyone if u dont know urself

    fkn bitch

  • Also don't correct anyone if you can't speak proper english.

  • he always sings on drums

  • ya but i can see who is seeing and he is walking around and i no thats not what spencer sounds like

  • this must have been special

  • look at chris jamming on the keys, in every video, including this soft toned song

  • rofl. rofl. muahahahaha. he's a robot. but that is SO true.

  • this is a great video! thanks for posting!!

  • wow ive always been a huge fan of both copeland and underoath. i never knew it was aaron from copeland that sang in this song.

  • Yeah, if you listen closely you can hear some of aaron marsh's traits and note choices. I love it!

  • who the fuck sings this? its not aaron and its not spencer...???? and dallas is gay and wasnt around for this album..cuz he sucks...but anyway..

  • Arron Mosh Sings Guest Vocals on it

He is from the band Copeland ( really great band )

  • Arron Mosh actually wrote it also

  • Oh wow i didnt know that lol

    Thanks

  • this is probably the most intense song ever<3 it's amazing. can't even describe it.

  • because aaron doesn't sing it on the CD the guy from copeland does. and he's really good to me lol

  • copeland = can't sing one note on beat...

    why isn't aaron leading this??

  • aaron is so good!

  • Thats not aaron singing

  • I love underoath! I love copeland! yay!

  • why does aaron sing this one??

  • He's on there only chasing safety

    He's the second vocals

  • this is a really amazing live version of this, aaron sounds right on...

  • are spencer doing the screaming in this one?

  • this song is so lyrically powerful!!!!!

  • whatever hes so off key live.lol...mosh..not gillespie.

  • whos singing? other than aaron

  • Aaron, A different Aaron sings the lead in this song. he plays for an Indy band from Florida called "Copeland" Check them out.

  • Copelands amazing

    No one really wins (acoustic)

    my fav song by themm

  • It's probly one of their most powerful songs

  • Aaron Marsh is so amazingly talented.

  • It's Ok, i've creid to this song before too

and actually undo by rush of fools

  • not to sound like a total pussy but this is the only song on earth that ever has and ever will make me cry

  • Wow, I read your comment, and It makes me want to cry now! =P

  • goosebumps @ 2:45

  • Oh dude, these guys write such amazing music, just listen to the melodies like in they're only chasing safety. If they wrote more radio freindly like pop sort of stuff they could be the next Blink 182 or Foo fighters, but I'm not saying they should sell out though.

  • if they become like blink 182 i will hate them. they need to stay like this.

  • i agree. no need to become mainstream. i like them as they are :)

  • they are GOOD live..course i know that ive seen vids of them live..welll i LOVED the screeming..ALOT

  • This song gives me chills everytime I hear it.

  • Such an inspiring song.

  • jesus i'm ready to come home

    :-)

  • it doesn't care who wrote it it's just the best song ever awesome scream from spencer and the lyrics are so strong i always get the chills if i listen to it it giges me a feeling from safety

  • wow that was so beautiful

  • yeah on the album credits it says aaron m, aaron g and spencer wrote the song.

and on the DVDs, they say that aaron gillespie and spencer wrote most of the lyrics and tim looked after music, but they all had their own input... im guessing that aaron, aaron and spencer, got together wrote it... and then decided who would do what parts...

i think aaron gillespie could have done it as well as aaron m, but it was good for some versatility.

aaron m is an amazing singer live, well he is now lol.

  • who is aaron marsh

  • The lead singer of Copeland

  • DAYUM i agree. niceeee screaming at 2:44..that was legit i wanna see this song live. lol

  • nice screaming at 2:44..... <3

  • Aaron Marsh from Copeland is awesome...i didn't know it was him who sung in this UnderOath song!!! great song!!

  • i get goosebumps like wow i love this song

  • OMG spencer's doin the drums?!! amazing!! U.O love it!

  • Aaron is playig the drums... the guy singing is from another band they were on tour with

And Spenc is ghost till the end where he comes in and screams..lol

just thought i'd clear stuff up

  • Yeah, the guy singing is Aaron Marsh from Copeland if anyone wanted to know.

  • Ya aaron marsh was the origanil one who sang it on the cd along with Aaron Gillespie if anyone wanted to know that....aaron couldn't sing the part the way that the band wanted it so they brought in their friend aaron marsh of copeland. Just to clear things up.

  • I highly doubt that all the parts/lyrics were already written before Aaron Marsh came in to do his parts considering in the writting credits on the cd it says the lyrics were written by both Marsh and Gillepsie. I do believe what you said about bringing him in cuz Aaron Gillepsie couldnt sing it like him. Listening to all the live versions though Aaron Marsh doesnt sound as good on it LIVE as the recorded version.

  • but then again it also says Spencer wrote some of the lyrics too which I doubt considering all screams in the song is a part Aaron already sings. So you're probably right. Where did you hear that all the parts/lyrics were done before Aaron Marsh came into the picture.

  • I did not say that aaron marsh didn't help write the song, all I'm saying is aaron marsh sang it because aaron couldn't do the part as well.

  • oh ok thats what I thought you might have meant or were saying its all confusing on who writes what or who just sings/screams what sorry my bad... I bet they brought in Aaron March for ALOT other reasons that what you said though... Like the fact that hes a fellow christian and can sing in a arron like style lol

  • Spencers late entrance is great and intense though.... it wouldnt be as good if he was just standing up there the whole song saying a cpl things here and there to the crowd like "make some noise" "let me see your hands" Etc I like that once the song picks up he comes on stage and gives er. His JESUS scream is still one of my favourite screams he does.

  • This makes me cry.

  • Lol, got goosebumps watching this

  • amazing. i dont know how else to describe this video.

  • does anybody knows how to scream like him?

  • its kinda easy when you only have those cpl lines at the end (lol) but his JESUS scream is really fucking intense I love it it gives me chills

  • yea, but how do you scream like him

  • its just like singing... I can scream like SPEE no problem its actually quite easy for me. Ive been screaming for almost 10 yrs now and its something I really enjoy... Now I think the complete opposite of you though cuz when I listen to The OATH I think more like How the Hell does Aaron sing that good (cuz I cant sing at all lol)

  • lol^^ thats unfortunate, but great singer's are not always turning out to be great screamers, lucky for you dude!

  • its all good Id rather be able to scream than sing.. Even though singing like Aaron Gillepsie would be amazing...

  • lol i mostly sing, but i also try to scream a bit but im not that great at scream, but singing comes easy to me

  • yeah with most people its usually one or the other but Spee screaming low, deep and medium and also singing all in the same show really impresses me lol

  • Spe isn't even that good of a singer? Now screaming is a whole nother matter...

  • yeah I know hes not that good of a singer... Im just saying that its impressive how he can scream all the different tones and pitches but still be able to pull off a half assed singing voice. Obviously hes not as good as a singer as Aaron G. But still he's alot better at singing than a bunch of the shitty ass emo Ive heard throughout my day.

  • copeland are amazing so bite it!

  • that dude singing is aaron marsh from copeland

    he is too raw

  • or the singer is the one on the album which is the guitarist

  • the guy singing is the singer from copeland... if you here this song your lucky as hell cause they only play it when they tour with copeland

  • i GOT REALLY TINGLI OVER MY WWHOLE BODY THATS WEIRD!!!

  • OG I AGREE WITH EVERYINE when spencer comes out and screams and the crous sings along....goosebumps its incredible

  • whos singing up front thats not sepncer

  • aww man beautiful.

  • ah man when Spencer comes out. I get goosebumps everywhere. This is just an amazing song live.

  • oh.....my.........god.........when spencer comes in screaming.....wow, taht just blows my mind, i got such goosebumps and tingles all over my face

  • holycuhhhh rap.

i love this song more then LIFE

    it's my favorite

  • SPENCER CHAMBERLAIN FOREVER<3

  • This song is too good for my ears. (Ron Paul for Prez.)

  • this is prolly one of my favorite songs because Aaron is such a badass singer

  • i agree :D

  • definately one of the best things I've ever heard.

  • That was an AMAZING show! Cornerstone FL is the best!!! i was so excited when i saw aaron get on stage with them =]]]

  • actually aaron marsh is defintly the better singer, if you listen to his stuff with his band copeland (they're amazing) you'll really see how good his voice is. But with underoath at a live concert, it doesn't really fit in as well, and doesnt sound as good. Aaron Gillespies voice fits much better in with Underoath, making it sound better. This is such an amazing song and i love how Underoath got Aaron Marsh to sing it with them, that was great. Great way to end They're Only Chasing Safety.

  • i think Aaron Gillespie is a better singer than whoever that is singing but hes not bad.

  • you guys bash on aaron's singing, yet u say u get goosebumps at 2:39 when all they do is scream HAHAHAHA. what a joke. aaron is an amazing singer.

  • ?? i love aaron marsh, iono how u can talk shit about him, heis such an amzing song writter. jesus hu? i didn't knw copeland and underoath colaborated

  • i love aaron marsh!!

but i love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ more!!!

  • why do people swear when respoding to a song about jesus.like wtc?

  • whee

    i met aaron marsh

underoath and copeland, two amazing bands

  • i had a knot in my throat in 2:30

  • they played the most amazing show last night, with taking back sunday

  • whoever is singing this (dude from copeland??) yeah he kinda sucks. but i still love the song

  • 2 minutes and 39 seconds into the vid is where i get goosebumps.

  • holy shit me too!
