@celestialfragility first of all: I think your organism needs more vitamins and microelements - this might be one of the reasons for nails to peel, so maybe you should consider taking some vitamin pills, and also try Nail Tek for peeling nails (it's Foundation II, I suppose).

I think brown is a bad color for this look because ... err, it doesn't necessarily remind me of chocolate, if you know what I mean XD

Love the technique, tho! Might look cool with red instead of brown, for a Halloween or Goth look.
