1) The Lorem Ipsum dummy text is not an exact copy of Cicero's text, part because of typo's, part because of a different typeset, like the 'vv' became 'w'.

2) Dummytekst in the 1500's is BS, since dummytext only makes sense when there is a nee d for a visual design before the text is there. Setting dummy text in lead bookprint would be nonsense. So it is used since laser setting for first proofs of a design, so somewhere early 20th century.
