Wow, the review in the description bar is excellent. It really does sum up the whole film in a very accurate way. I especially relate to the fact that this film doesn't try to give an explanation to the behaviour of the people involved, but just presents the raw facts, which make the movie so pure and fascinating!!! All about Lily chou-chou is definetely the most amazing movie I've seen since long ago.

OK HELLO VIDEOCHEMIST! Wow. Ok yesterday I watched this movie and it was terribly depressing but still good at the same time..

Was the film basically saying that following Lily was like a curse or something because everyone seemed to die after listening to it and the boy at the beginning snapped the CD possibly showing that it was bad to keep listening to it and it was a trap??

@hanito294 I think you're viewing it through the lens of a horror film, rather than seeing it for what it is. It's not Ringu, and there's nothing supernatural going on. To me, it's a film that explores fractured friendships, bullying and manipulation. The music was a connection between the characters allowing them to unite in the 'finale', but I think of it more as the curtains on the stage; a means of framing the action. Not an ancient curse by an evil rock-star-witch.

@hanito294 well i personally think theres no way the director could ever mean that. the movie is just teenage feelings documented, and music is an important part of every teenagers life, its a sort of light at the end of the tunnel. but art and beauty arent always enough to compensate for all the awful things in the world, so some people snap. it has nothing to do with lily herself, shes just a symbol.
