I'm suprised-kinda-every manga i read is NOTHING like the anime-except Junjou Romantica- but this one sticks close to the original manga. HAHAHA i should really get pass the first episode to see if i'm right.

@animefunish No, Chihaya is actually around 17 or 18, they were talking about the actual race of Angels on Eden. The Angels have been watching over Earth, but angels do have long lives.

and this episode doesn't even appears in the manga -.- so it's very light shonen-ai.. pretty disappointing for us yaoi-fans!!

I saw the anime before reading the manga, and I just hate it how little they show the relationship between Chihaya and Kagetsuya. But I still love this anime xD For anyone who's thinking it, READ THE MANGA! It's freaking awesomeastic!

I like the first two OVA, the second two I really dislike, they screw up Chihaya's personality big time especially in his utter love and devotion to Kagetsuya. And Chihaya shouldn't have a complex anymore either if it's post manga, because there are black angels on Earth. It makes no sense.

Yes, Earthian is over 15 years old. Though if you read the manga you see that Earthian steadily becomes something that resembles Loveless more closely

Chihaya, an angel with unlucky black hair and wings, is a plus checker who travels to Earth with Kagetsuya, a minus checker. Each team of plus and minus checkers keep track of Earth events and, if the score ever reaches minus 10,000, the Earth will be destroyed. The story follows Chihaya and Kagetsuya and the different people and events they observe on Earth.

it's not easy for anime artistes to draw other ethnic groups well - not to mention that the anime seems fairly old. Blacks, Hispanics and other ethnic groups only appeared - well-drawn and more frequently - lately. If you look at Sado/Chad from Bleach (he is of Hispanic descent - 2nd generation)or Bob from Tenjou Tenge (he is black - albeit with blue eyes).

I think that was all a funneh continuation of a rant. granted everyones point were amuzing. BUt you just gotta love the hilarity some conversations start. True about Bob and Sdou chan, as a member of a very mixed backround I can agree that most non white charecters would have looked odd since the way they used to be drawn in any kind of animation back in the day was to a somewhat recist extent. But animation and equality has come a long way, (though it still has a ways more to go also) ^^

Angels are usually depicted as Anglo, so it's not surprising that there aren't any other ethnicities in this anime. The only exception is Chihaya(excluding Lord Seraphim, because his appearance was due to having Black Cancer). And if you notice in this part of the episode they're only in Japan. Not that it's so unusual to see someone of a different ethnicity, but it is a bit less likely.

usually i think the ukes ARE always blonde. okane na gai, kirepapa, kizuna. It justs make them seem more hlepless and childlike. And dark hair makes the other one have that whole dark, mysterious guy thing goin for them. But, maybe i'm wrong. Papa to Kiss in the Dark, Loveless, Gakuan Heaven, and Gravitation have the tougher one in the relationship blonde.

Yun Kouga's style has changed a lot from Earthian to the time that she did Loveless... I do enjoy Loveless more, but Earthian's plot is awesome.

It'd be pretty hard to made me like something more than Loveless because it's my favourite, but nonetheless, Earthian is quite good.
