After Eddie's Franklin was giving F.M some dance tips though.When they split..F.m developed his karate/plastic man style and Franklin got his flamenco/callejero style.F.D is respected more in the dance world because of the dance training he has and on top of that, he adds flavor to any dance he does.Frankie is more respected in the salsa scene...But hey..they both have their own unique style which is a plus these days. it's copy cat city out here these days. Frankie uses a lot of funk and lyrical in his movement and franklin lots of flamenco both are fenomenal dancers. Franklin is teaching at Roy Arias studio/ 300 w 43rd street/ Every Mon. & Wed. from 8-10pm. He'll be teaching till the end of September. Who ever has their doubt's about this guy being the best...come to his class. By far the best salsa dancer !!! Es una bestia este man !!!

Best salsa dancer? I guess it's a matter of opinion. In my book, he's not. He is a very talented dancer, I will say. Unfortunately, like many other good dancers, he has become arrogant. Hope his legs work forever. Otherwise, he may lose all of the 'friends' who kiss his ass. Get over yourself Franklin. It's just dancing. And Flamenco + Salsa looks stupid at times. SalsaCritic you are right best is a matter of opinion. But I have to disagree with him being arrogant. He maintains his distance with the present salsa community because he feels that it is too commercialized. He is too absorbed in his dancing and is very fun to be around. You will never get bored if you have him around. And yes for that to happen he has to like you as a person. Well you havent seen much of his dancing to say it looks stupid at times. i guess stupid is a matter of opinion too.
