You know you don't have to hit him at the break point you can stay at the bottom and kinda lock yourself in under him. That way you avoid the spikes and you can constantly wail on him. You only have to occasionally jump to avoid the missiles.
The SNES and Arcade versions had the same bosses for 5 of the stages. Rat King is boss of Stage 3 (which was changed to a bonus stage), Tokka and Rahzar are mini-bosses to Stage 4 (the first Technodrome level, not in the arcade), Slash is the boss of Stage 5, Bebop and Rocksteady are the bosses of Stage 6, and Super Shredder is the boss of Stage 10.
The snes version was released after and had custom content placed in the game and bosses changed on some levels. Boss music is way better in the snes version as well imo

It didn't have a boss. It just made you fight an endurance match with a bunch of those Pizza Monsters bombarding you.
